Do we really have enough assets for Mitchell?

If Mitchell asks out he’s coming to Miami. I’m pretty confident in that

Even with Danny Ainge as the GM?

Riley's negative relationship with Ainge might get mitigated by his relationship with Wade. Ainge can't get to reckless at the mouth about Riley and the Heat around Wade.

Yes I’m not worried about that. They’ll get it worked out

I saw a C and the last name Martin and my heart sank for a moment thinking that Caleb left as well.

Wow that’s a lot of Money, don’t think he’s worth it, if a team offers a similar deal to Caleb let him walk

Was he better than Caleb? Felt like we had the better bro. Don't feel like paying our guy that much yet.

It makes sense for Caleb Martin to return so we can have his Early Bird rights. Similar to Oladipo.

I know this is a couple days old, but was there any clarification on these "conditional protections" that were mentioned for Dedmon's second year?

Caleb deserves probably 4 million tops. Heat probably have him in a holding pattern between giving him the early bird raise of 2.2 and using the tax payer 6.4 on another player or digging in to the MLE to give him some more. Most likely waiting for the trade smoke to settle after the 4th of July holiday.

Goran it almost feels like has to be gearing up to go play with Luka in Dallas. They are playing together right now, and he has been a target of Cuban's for a while due to the Luka connection. Also with the loss of Brunson ball handling depth is at a premium for that team right now.

In spurts last year, Caleb was awesome. Hope we've got him tied up. The way money flows sometimes....makes me wonder how folks will act. I don't think Caleb was nearly consistent enough to have a list of suitors though with money favorable enough to leave Miami.

If he stays with us another year and has another decent year we can reward him next year with upwards of 10 million with the two year early bird similar to what the Bucks did with Portis. It might be in his best interest just to come back even if it's for a tad less then what the open market is offering. I doubt he gets a similar deal to his brother's as he was already under control by the Hornets.

Have to think Caleb wants a big pay bump after his twin just got that much. He’s probably gone
