Desperate much? Lol

If we don’t get a whale get rid of lowry and Duncan and get Westbrook imo

I'd much prefer Lowry not shooting than Westbrook shooting.

The quick look, Westbrook was a -12 of ORTG-DRTG, that's bad.
Lowry was actually a +8, he was a big difference maker when healthy.

I'm sure Atlanta would like a borderline all-star in return or a starter and a pick or two, depending on the quality of the starter.

Vucevic is a better player, and he essentially went for Wendell Carter and 2 picks; Christian Wood was traded for a lot of meh players and a 1st. Jerami Grant was traded for a 1st and a few 2nd rounders.

Of guys being discussed in deals or seen as potentially available, I'd say these would be the types of deals Atlanta would consider:

- OG Anunoby or Siakam, although the last thing Toronto needs is another PF (and Atlanta would have to give up more to get Siakam)

- Kuzma and a pick OR Hachimura and 2 picks,

- Crowder and Cam Johnson

- Harrison Barnes and a pick/pick swap

- Marcus Morris or Robert Covington and a pick

But we get rid of two trash contracts and get 47 million freed up from cap space in a year

Basically I'd prefer to watch good basketball and be losing then watch bad basketball and still be losing.

Getting off of their contracts would be good but I don't see the Lakers wanting to take that on since Lebron and the rest of LA's roster outside AD are free agents next season. They aren't going to mess with their future flexibility unless it means they get someone like Kyrie now who they will likely go after in free agency next season.

And if Westbrook is so trash then just don’t play him and let him sit for a year

And risk another year of Lebron getting older? They are in win now mode
