I'm all in on us being the third wheel here and getting some other teams sloppy seconds.

Especially if it can land us a competant 3&D player... Cam Johnson anyone?

I don't but there were two guys on Twitter trying to convince me we have the best package to trade for him and its actually hilarious lol. One of them even said KD is already here in his mind

For me it is still hard to realize paying that much money to professional basketball players - but as long as the know how to behave it is acceptable for me.
If an organisation however is willing to pay bums like KI that max money they have lost me immediately as a fan. Winning isn't sweet enough to accept that.
Rodman was already hard to swallow, but he wasn't the centerpiece of the franchise, just a very important role player allowing the goat to fulfill his job, so I made my peace with that hiring.

I'd love to be the third (or forth) team and somehow get Ayton this way.

(I've been playing with the fanspo trade machine way too much haha).

Want to see KD stay in BKN and watch them just straight suck like last year.

Would require Patrick breaking out this season and looking like a future star.
So no.

Nobody out there worrying about that any more. Even if they were, he is way to late in his career and been on too many teams to be thinking about being the historic face of whatever team he ends up with.

AK is working on the margins.Nothing special happening for the Bulls in free agency.Prepare yourself for another exciting preseason games followed by a 40-45 regular season winning record with another 1st round exit. And don´t forget about being excited how Pat´s game has evolved.
So your prediction is the Bulls will not win more games than they did last season?

I think Durant to Chicago was possible before the Gobert trade. Minny’s unbelievably rich offer to Utah for a non-superstar level player increased Durant’s trade value tremendously.

If that happened why we would trade a 21 year old ascending star for a 34 year old headcase that has never lead a team to a championship?

Kyrie Irving to LA Lakers is pretty much a done deal. He removed that Insta image though. Kevin Durant "supposedly" to Phoenix or Miami.

Yes, I believe the Bulls won't win more than 46 regular season games even if healthy.Do you believe in something around 50-55 wins?As if being healthy was the most important reason why we didn't win more games?
I believe that team's flaws were more clearly exposed after Ball's injury but they were there before especially when playing against East's top teams.I keep believing that these flaws should be addressed on free agency not being delusional of solving at least some of them with a #18 draft pick. But our offseason moves have been so weak that I can't really believe in a better record than 46-36.

I have a hard time understanding how you can be so high about a player who showed basically nothing for star expectations.Durant is a superstar,Pat is only a young player with a lot to prove and would never be considered untouchable in any trade conversation especially one about bringing a player like Gobert or Durant.

WTF can the Lakers offer? Why would BKN accept Westbrick when they can get decent offers from other teams? This isnt happening, and the NBA should be ashamed if it does. Kyrie should’ve opted out and signed for the MLE in LA if that’s what he wanted. Lakers have nothing to offer.

I went with his hypothetical. If Pat became good enough that Nets would want him as the centerpiece of a Durant trade then we probably shouldn’t do it. Just like Phoenix would not include Booker for Durant. It’s a hypothetical question. I do think he will be considered an ascending talent by the time next season is over.

So, I would HATE this, but Irving/KD for Ball/DeRozan/Vuc/CWhite/JGreen/Port Pick/27 and 29 Bulls' picks
Irving/Ayo
Lavine/Caruso
PWill/Terry
KD/DJJ
Drummond/Bradley
That has to be a title favorite, IF HEALTHY

BRK runs back a playoff team, with quality vets
Ball/Curry
Harris/White
DeRozan/O'Neale
Simmons/JGreen
Vuc/Claxton
With Sharpe and Thomas rounding out their bench
That is a solid, well rounded club-and they add 3 future picks

Return to Chicago Bulls
