Keegan looked good. Very much like PJ Washington to me.

It’s amazing, right? Did the same thing at Iowa.

Only watched some highlights and will watch the game later.
Damn Queta had a couple of nice moves for such a big guy. He looked massive out there.

I'm not sure what our expectations should be with him precisely. But he is way too raw to be anything besides an emergency deep bench guy right now.

What impressed me though was him able to step out & set screens and roll to the basket. Hopefully another year of development and he can take Len's place.

Queta will benefit from another year in the G league. The following season there could be an open roster spot for him assuming Richaun Holmes has a new home and Len walks.

If we get current PJ Washington out of rookie Murray I'll be very happy. This is kinda what I was expecting with tons of room to grow

Yeah I was having fun here. Detroit's summer league team has multiple Pistons starters lol. I have them winning it this year.

They should win it running away unless the main guys only play token minutes, which is possible.

And we sweep the California Classic. We are witnessing a Summer League dynasty before our very eyes.

Good bounce back from Murray.

It's only 3 games but the kid is going to be good.

I think the team has a chance to win the title this summer, and Keegan is doing great and can carry the team

No reason for Keegan to play much more in SL. Give him and Davion 1-2 games in Vegas. Play him against Orlando and OKC and then sit him. He has a huge rookie campaign coming up, that should be the focus, not putting more miles on him in game situations against lesser players.

Impressed. His feet movement on D is a little slower than what I would like, but you can tell how active his hands are on D too. Will be able to guard the 3, but not as much as I thought. Maybe it's just these games though so I'm not sure.

Great strategy from the SL staff if I'm reading this correctly.
Years ago, and many teams still do this, you would see players come in and teams would force them to work on their weaknesses in game.
I think it was WCS in SL years ago where they gave him the chance to be a scorer, it didn't end well. Was it Buddy with his playmaking?
I got the feeling from this staff they wanted Murray, and others, to focus on what they do well, which is great to see. I like Jordi as a coach so far.

Scoring on all levels, floor game is advanced for a big that I'm not sure there are modern comps.
1:20 is bag, who are the bigs facing up with the crossover with handle that tight in the NBA now?

My favorite bucket is at 1:36. The movement without the ball is beautiful for a PF. He's going to open things up for Fox and Sabonis. Very exciting stuff.
