Bud has played Pat a ton since he joined the Bucks as well. If Bud loved old guys the way people presume, we would’ve signed Ersan and had him play over Bobby. The old guy narrative is dumb.

Christian Wood is the obvious example.
There was a time when DJ Wilson had figured things out, shot the 3 well and he was really active on D ... somehow he was shot down.
Stanley Johnson & Gary Payton II found rotation minutes on a championship caliber team.
Carter deserved more minutes even at the playoffs.
Jabari Parker should have been showcased and traded for picks or another young player.
Nwora was coming off the bench with a hot hand, for a couple of months, somehow his value has come to zero.
We keep signing players that are too old that can't even help us come playoffs, like Bud is bored to develop or doesn't care.

Christian Wood stinks.
Stanley Johnson stinks.
DJ Wilson stinks.

Payton and Jabari weren’t even Bucks when Bud was coach…

Kidd actually kept giving GPII getting minutes but, he was absolutely useless on offense.
Jabari couldn’t stay on the court long enough to be worth anything

When Bud came ... Jabari was a RFA
I expected from Bud to persuade Jabari and give it a try.
That is keeping your assets ... that is reforming your assets , that is keeping a salary slot available for a trade ... this is WHY the Pelicans just gave an extension to ZION ... there will be either a GM that sees Zion as a long term cornerstone and trade for him, or there will be a need for a big salary on a trade to get a player. Leaving the No2 Overall leave for nothing is an incompetent attitude. I am pointing out the asset management , I hope you understand it

Benching Bobby Portis for the resurrection of the Dinosaur Brook is , was the dumbest coach decison of the last season.
Portis never got his rythmn back , in case you didn't notice it.

Jabari is out of the league at 27yrs old, you're flat out wrong about this "Bud doesn't play young guys" nonsense. Like was pointed out, Bud had nothing to do w/ GPII, perhaps you should stick to reddit with your conspiracy theory bs.

Jabari is out of the league and we have zero assets nor young players to include in any efing trade ... take your green glasses out it messes up your brain

Slight difference between Zion and Jabari being that Zion was All NBA caliber as a 19 or 20 year old. Jabari was equally unavailable and not nearly the talent unfortunately.

Says the anti-vax conspiracy theorist? Parker has played on multiple teams and no one has got any value out of him because he has none. You're delusional.

MJB is going to play a lot.

We'll have a 14 man roster that will include Thanasis and the corpeses of Joe Ingles, George Hill, and Wes Matthews. With the expected injuries, MJB will be #7 or 8 most nights.

Buds last 2- 1st round picks were John Collins and Donte. If anything, Bud should be known as a coach who's willing to play his 1st rounder more than most.

Also, there's a pretty decent chance we just drafted the next Herb Jones. That plays.

I like MJB's potential, but don't get me all hot and bothered like this....

Yea Beauchamp will get plenty of run in the Regular season. Assuming a 14 man roster with Ingles out half the year and Thanasis taking up a spot you're looking at really 12 guys and the 2 two ways guys. There will be plenty of minutes for Beauchamp

I feel like how good Beauchamp is as a rookie will be huge for the Bucks. We have some shooters who are liabilities in the playoffs on D (Allen, Ingles) and we have some defenders who are pretty worthless on offense (Wes, Carter). I didn't list Hill as he is worthless on both ends.

If Beauchamp can just give us passable 3-point shooting (lets say 1.0+ makes, 33%+) along with that length, activity, defense, and slashing, it adds something we just don't have on this roster.

A Jrue/Beauchamp/Middleton/Portis/Giannis lineup sounds pretty damn sexy.

Lol, wood, Parker and nwora all are in the same category: players who have no concept on how to play team defense and jack up shots on offense. It had nothing to do with them being young and everything to do with driving a coach nuts even if they have talent.

Beauchamp will get heaps of minutes as they need him ready for the playoffs. Curious to know if Mamu cracks the rotation while l with Jingles recovering

Maybe he sees some time, but I just personally don't see it with Mamu.

He's got a good skillset and wasn't as bad a defender as I thought he would be. I feel like he was reasonably productive as well so that's enough for me.

I think Wes was acceptable on offense in the playoffs but his lack of ball handling really made the offense 1 dimensional. Giannis had zero initiators when Jrue was on the bench as Hill was frankly atrocious. Hopefully Beauchamp can break Ds off the dribble and create movement

Usually you talk about breaking ankles off the dribble but breaking dicks works too I guess.

Beauchamp suddenly emerging as Herb Jones-North would be a godsend for this roster.
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS
