Ben is in his feelings over being abandoned by his 2 co-stars. These are the guys that were supposed shield him and take attention away from the fact that Ben doesn't know how to shoot.

In all honesty this is probably a good move for him. More players should delete their social media accounts, stop watching the news and focus more on basketball.

Jacob Perdl has a great social media team. Other guys should take it as an example.

Sad thing is if he had just been tight with his money he could have retired after 2021. He would have been 24 with a ~20 million net worth. Unlike other guys who hate the criticism, I don't get the impression he loves basketball. He could have lived like a King without a worry.

Honestly think he would have been happier.

Basketball is not a mental game, so it makes no difference what happened to him, he's still going to make All-Star teams and challenge for DPOY.... He'll always be a winner, while 99% of the world will always be losers.

Eventually (years from now) I expect NBA players to learn how to balance social media with their real life and that the mental makeup of NBA players will recover.

Most of today's NBA players are a part of the transition generation to social media. Like most of the rest of the world they are immature and naive about how social media works. People around the world (especially in America it seems) are suffering from a collective deterioration in mental health and it seems that many NBA players are at the forefront of all of this.
