It's also very difficult to know which teams are going to be "threats" in some years because we don't know which rookies will develop well and who are the lucky teams getting VIctor or Henderson kind of prospects..a bit of lotto luck and u are in a incredible situation.

Ainge extract maximum value from trades though. Nobody thought gobert price would be this high .

I think we’re our own biggest threat to lottery odds. Only so many teams can tank. Barring injury, we’re just likely to be too good to have top four odds. This needs to be the year we get pelicans or kings situation where we fall upstairs or the guy we want falls to us.

Feel like finding a team for Green was another bluff...I just don't see how we can manage to find a deal for him without giving up significant value too.

It could just be a buyout so he goes somewhere before training camp.

this is nothing compared to the nfl with over 40 cuts between training camp and kickoff.

the best way to scout a player is to sign for these low cost/guarantee contracts, have him in the locker room, do a few workouts.

Same as last season. One of the two way has always been a much older player than someone whom we theoretically drafted .

Was this guy part of the blues ?

Omoruyi gets a chance to compete in training camp. With the roster crunch and potential to bring back one of the other guys who gets cut it was probably a harder spot to fill.

This looks like JWill will get the 20th roster spot for now.

JWill will get paid so this Omoruyi signing is great for him.

Intriguing stat from Omoruyi: played 4 seasons in the G-league and he wasn't taking any 3 point shot in his first two seasons, went up to 1.6 to 3.9 3PA last two seasons and shot at 37.6% last season. I still don't get the signing since he's a bit too old already but let's see..

He is 6’5” with a 7’1” wingspan. I think he fits the new type of player the Thunder want. Mav’s fans seem to like him.

yeah he's a very nice guy but just don't see the upside with him.

If Sam had drafted Roby and traded for Maledon, I think we would see the opposite happening. I’m a Presti supporter but i think he’s a bit too partial towards his own selections.

I think someone is going to really dig Roby as a 4th or 5th big. He's versatile and young. Tries real hard. Good motor. Switchable.
