Yea Lewis was like my pie in the sky comp. Murray looks really limited as a shot creator.

I like the Jamison comp but a better shooter for sure

Why not compare him to his teammate Harrison Barnes? That seems the most apt to me.

I was thinking he looked like Barnes when I was watching the highlights.

You needed to watch the flow of the game to understand that Murray was pretty dominant offensively. It was him scoring on 3 straight trips down the floor type of stuff.

That's stuff Barnes never did. Barnes has always been an opportunistic scorer who just takes little nibbles here and there. He was never a guy who dominated or would make the opposing team say "Man, how do we stop this guy?"

If Murray can be as dominant in a real NBA game as he was in that stretch in yesterday's game, he's gonna be way better than Barnes.

I know your joking, but is that typical for kids on a back to back who don't play them in college or high school (and have been off playing for awhile)

I'm thinking most kids look a lot worse in back to backs in SL. I'd love the stats on that

Yeah, I can kinda see TJ Warren comparison, maybe Granger too. I dont see great upside though. Dont know anything about the draft, I was surprised that he is so big, maybe because his name is Murray, my brain figured he must be like 6'4

Wonder will Kings bring Alexander Vazenkov, he would be good role player for them, he was amazing in Bulgaria-Lithuania game I watched the other day.

Keegan Murray is a prospect I'm irrationally high on so I try to stay out of discussion about him to save myself the potential embarrassment if he becomes just an average player. I've just never seen a player score so easily at the college level. He barely touches it sometimes and it's already in the hoop. No wasted motions. Constantly sets himself up to be in scoring position. Like if prime Klay Thompson was a paint scorer instead of a perimeter shooter. On top of that ability, he just has a strong all-around game and a high basketball IQ. I think I've just been a little bit higher on his shooting and defense than most people have throughout the draft process.

Oh yeah i didn't notice they got his draft rights. Have you heard anything about that. He's almost 27 now but seems like a no-brainer guy to bring in next to Fox. They don't really have a player like him in their rotation, with that kind of shooting ability.
