Down to get Roby. Would it jeopardize retaining Caleb Martin?

As AirP previously pointed out there are a number of intriguing young PFs on the last year of rookie deals that their respective teams might not seek to extend at their market rate after this season. This will create a trade market of these young PFs during this season. Smart GMs will want to get some nominal value in return rather than just letting guys like PJ Washington walk for nothing.

ORTG 120, DRTG 111... a +9

Defends 1-5.

I knew you'd have me covered AirP:)

I like it. Hate that we're last in line though.

He's 24 already which is probably the reason he's out of OKC, they have younger prospects now.

He was a low value pickup I was interested in at the deadline. I’d be happy to take a shot, but I’m guessing he’ll get claimed. He’s shown enough to suggest he can be a rotation quality player IMO.

Damn shame we couldn't work out a deal with OKC.

Heat needs to get Roby. He fits the mode on how Spo uses the 4. He would develop well under the Spo system.

Presti would've been asking for 2 first rounders.

Two days ago OKC picked up his option, only to waive him today before the money became guaranteed.

Now, he's subject to waivers on a 1 year, 1.9 mil deal instead of being a free agent who could sign a bigger deal.

Roby closed the last 10 games of the season with more minutes and usage:

17-7-3 on 53% from 3

We have a 22 year old 6MOY I’d gladly trade for their 24 year old star
