He does look skinny.

We have to imagine he is surrounded by high paid experts... just have to trust "the process".

I hope Luka turns into 40% 3pt shooter & 80% FT shooter next season.

I mostly find curls pointless exercise, but Luka looks like he could use some, also some overhead presses, pump these shoulders, you'll be backing down Kawhi soon.

Me too but I'm doubtful of the 40% 3 point shooting considering how many difficult 3s he has to take. Personally I'd just be happy with about 37% which is around prime MVP Harden percentages.

Now the FT% is no excuse for him imo. A starting PG should always be at least 80% from the line. He was at 77% in the 21-22 playoffs so he's definitely show big improvement which hopefully carries over to next season.

say Luka is shooting at least one desperation 3 pointer per game at the end of a quarter.

He shoots about 10 3 point shots per game.

Assume that his deperation shots are all being missed.

That is equivalent to 10% of his shots so out of the 9 shots left over he is making 35.3 %

Corrected 3 point shooting % calculated for hitting that 35.3% on the 9 out of 10 shots that he actually has a chance of hitting can be calculated and that new % is 39.2% when you want to subtract the 10% of his shots that are not going in because they are end of the quarter wasted attempts with no hope of going in.

If he can up his shooting % even more then his adjusted three point shooting will be even more impressive.

Love it! Well, if it's true. Cos it seems like too short of a time for him to have lost that much weight compared to when the playoffs were going on? If it's true though, then great job, Luka! I wanna see him kick ass this year and win the title. :)

Is this the third time Luka has used the jump hook in a game this (NBA) off season? When he used the first time I thought it was pretty cool. Then he hit it again against Jokic the other day. And here he’s hitting it again. He looks to be getting pretty comfortable with the shot. The league is going to really be in trouble if this shot becomes a regular part of his arsenal.

Based on his FT "progress" over the past 4-5 years he will never be a 80% FT shooter. He is at around 60% in friendlies so far. Just horrible for a guy that shoots so many of them.

What's holding Luka back from looking different?

Missed free throws, complaining to the refs non stop... and some also point out looking fat.

It's crazy how year on year it feels like nothing changes.

Context: Slovenia got knocked out against a farmers team.
