I thought Gragic to the Mavs was a no brainer. Is Luka like the WWW of Slovenian basketball? (i.e. all the connections, none of the pull to actually sign anyone).

Re: Knicks Free Agency Frenzy Part Deux
Mitchell is reportedly still available, according to ESPN NBA analyst Brian Windhorst. After the Jazz moved Rudy Gobert to Minnesota, Windhorst recently revealed that the overall consensus around the league is that the 25-year-old could still be dealt as well. While the relationship between both sides is not the best currently, making it seem Mitchell isn't up for grabs may be a way for the franchise to gain leverage in trade scenarios. Nonetheless, anything can happen regarding Mitchell's future with the Jazz. However, wherever he ends up next, he should continue to be an effective fantasy contributor.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

Warriors laugh at trading Wiggins for either of those guys, unfortunately
warriors are trading wiggins for KD. they need someone to take on wiggins contract if they want KD. not a ton of options. knicks can offer picks and useful players. their starters are set but would need some reserve talent if sending out the likes of wiggins, poole, and wiseman.

Not sure I see the Warriors being desperate to bring 34 year old KD back after winning the ship. KD even made slick comments about GS’ crowd after he left. I don’t see a patch up for them tbh.

That’s why it was good to get off him we would still be arguing why he should start , or where have I hear this before :
The team isn’t built right around him .
He needs shooters
He needs drivers
He needs defenders
He need pnr options

How about RJ for OG Anunoby?

OG is the better player now, but RJ has two seasons to catch up. OG has also been injury prone the last couple of seasons so you can't rely on him for a full season. I wouldn't do it.

Re: Knicks Free Agency Frenzy Part Deux
I'd trade Fournier and one first rounder for OG and start RJ and OG together on the wings.
I doubt Toronto would go for that except maybe the french connection might interest them, they need more shooting, too, right?
I guess we have to ask about agents all the time now with this nepotistic FO nonsense, I bet that even plays in on who they would trade for.

If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Wisdom is knowing what to pull out of the bag to do the job

I didn’t realize he was so prone.

Re: Knicks Free Agency Frenzy Part Deux
When are the Knicks gonna get off this Mitch contract ?
It has to be a S&T.
He brings no offense and whatever he gives you on defense we’ll give it up at the 3 point Rudy Gobert style .
Jazz defense didn’t just regress during playoff , wheels falls off to league worst level . Even at the teams peak with multiple all stars and we have ?
Complete net loss of signing before hit the court .
Another fn season of Ricky Curryubio and Juan AlvJordanarro on the perimeter vs us .

Re: Knicks Free Agency Frenzy Part Deux
Best case scenario for the ballclub is to have this current roster play out until feb deadline (hopefully JB helps the guys increase their stock) and flip the signed guys for picks and whatnot and that includes Mitch

Am starting to think mitch can be included in any number of moves with draft picks for a high salary player or combination of.
Heck mitch for myles turner would work right now couldnt it? Especially with a draft pick.
seems like the front office could really utilize his contract circumstance and do some cap wizardry since he was a low cap hold and not restricted by the cap for his salary number.
Really seems like the knicks can be one of the biggest buyers on the market and some prices we seen already, not extremely stout or unmatchable by us. So i think if they dont make a move it because they dont want to make a move.
And if they dont make a move that means they thought we were good, and if we arent then its another strike against them for poor evaluation.

They can’t because of Simmons.

The Knicks would be set for the next decade with Bane and Haliburton.
These fit the modern NBA perfectly, and are both efficient on offense and impactful on defense.
I do however think IQ (particularly him) and Obi have some intriguing upside and untapped potential.
I like each individually but neither can create thier own shot. Both are best paired with someone who is a major shot creator. Not saying we have that but just saying, idk that they are a good pairing.
With Brunson and Randle (or another scoring 4) here, I think it would alleviate them of the pressure of shot creation.
There would still be a piece missing, undoubtedly.
