It’s like I’ve totally wiped PJ Tucker from my memory as a Heat player. Weird.

Morey cringe for trying to get the band back together tbh

i think its like this... the heat cannot afford KD and mitchell.... but they make be able to slide in on the kyrie sweeptakes... will arison approve of this guy on the heat though with the vaccine thing?? if you can get kyrie on the low for cheap, i think he improves our the team the best because we would be giving maybe just herro + one first rounder at most for him.... where as youd be gutting your team for the other two.... Will kyrie buy into heat Culture?? if hes all in, and pat/arison goes for it we would be on to something huge... I mean who is stopping the #1 seed with kyrie/strus/jimmy/crowder/bam??? we would be much better than last season and we were alrdy #1 seed to begin with....

i think the brooklyn nets would rather do business with the heat than the lakers, as it looks are trying to dump garbage westbrook on to them.... the heat would be giving them a talented player with upside and youth and picks... much better.

He's a mercenary for hire. Perfectly fine to be so. I don't mind him leaving either. I'm fundamentally disinclined to appreciate a 6'5" PF, lol.

Yeah it’s gonna be a little painful/annoying when he makes a corner 3 against us and show us the 3 sign but he’s gonna be making over 30 mil til hes 40 and yeah he’s a great role player to have but we could use an upgrade at pf

Still hoping Collins is available and we've shown interest. His offensive rating is 120ish. Would welcome the help finishing down low. He's also a good 3 point shooter. Had a couple seasons shooting 40% before coming down this past year.

Is

Vincent
Mitchell
Jimmy
Collins
Bam

possible?

or even

Mitchell
Strus
Jimmy
Collins
Bam

You don't need a real PG if Bam is going to establish the O

I never really felt like Mitchell was available. I could see Ainge maybe not believing he's a true centerpiece type player. I could see him moving him to a team who believes he is for a big package. I don't feel we have that.

That's why I've felt that Kyrie was the best option. All time low value and as good a scorer you can get on the market. Seems realistic.

how so? did any of those seasons end in titles? why should we proud of just making an ECF, or making a Finals? wrong kinda of mentality to have imo.

You are crazy if you think anything less than a three peat is failure. Completely unrealistic expectations for any team in history.

Tucker is the anomaly 6’5 PF. Probably the only acceptable 6’5 PF in the league that I would want playing with Bam. His width and 250 pound weight is hard to budge down low when he boxes out. He also sets crushing screens. What’s sad is he’s probably been the only real true PF Bam has gotten the chance to play with since he’s been here. The organization will now go back to having slim 3-D players next to Bam while we watch him get run to the ground trying to compensate. I hope i’m wrong and they find a way to secure a PF or two here soon. Collins is he perfect fit but i’m just skeptical about the Hawks making us better.

That last bit rings very true. Collins would be a big addition for us. He's a dynamic offensive player who's lack of awareness on D could be covered up a bit on our team vs theirs where 80% of the team isn't a defender.

Kyrie is a cancer. Don’t want him. He will Join Lakers after one year. No point in trading for him unless Heat want to get out of contracts lol

Bam
Collins
Butler
Oladipo
Kyrie

That's a lineup that is balanced and accounts for each others deficiencies.

I get it. He's one strange dude. However, if we just run it back....actually losing PJ hurts, then we are 2nd round fodder. I'd jump at the chance to get a guy who's good enough to take over a game and fills our greatest need. Butlers prime days are drawing close to an end.

For Lowry, sure Kyrie is worth the gamble.

For Herro, no thanks.

Kyrie might be better now but considering age, character, salary and just him being unbearable - I'd pass.

Get Collins. Bring in TJ. Resign Caleb. Call it an offseason.

Real question for anyone following closer: Do any RFAs currently have standing offers from other teams right now? Wouldn't doing so this early basically paralyze the offering team for days? It's my impression that offers would come closer to the deadline.
