Spo loves him. Spo always attaches himself to a JAG like Highsmith.

Highsmith and Diawara would be like that Spider-Man meme

Our SL team stinks. Really not much reason to watch these games with nary a prospect worth investing in in sight. Particularly if we’re gonna run Jovic off ball and off the bench.

Bring on Vegas and YURTSZN.

I think we need to put Jovic down in the paint. He needs to work on his close range/mid range game and then expand. I bet if we let him work down there a bit more you will see him be more productive.. we can expand his game outside as he develops.. but for now we need to see him go to work and get physical.. get some bumps and bruises and develop character.

Its not just his scoring ability, in the paint we can see what his passing ability looks like.. i get the feeling he can be a very good passer

Our guards are historically trashy, Smart and Mulder are the oldest players in SL yet also the dumbest.

I just want to see Jovic on ball running pick and rolls, let him have 40% usage.

Is it too much to ask REX

Hopefully they loosen the reigns and let him handle. He has better passing instincts than anyone else on this trash roster.

When you say handle, do you mean run point and set up plays? Or just in general take his man off his dribble when he gets the ball on the wing.

I mean be a point of initiation on offense. That doesn’t mean running Point Guard and bringing the ball up, but being a ball handler, initiating pick and rolls, etc.

Get physical? If he catches an elbow it's going to bruise his soul. That kid needs to put on 10 lbs just to become three dimensional.

Jovic’s handle is weak and his footwork is raw.

I’ve got no interest in waiting out his development

Jovic will be a full season G league player. That’s a dead roster spot. UD is another. We also like to leave an open roster spot when we can going into the season so now down to spot 13. The 2 ways will be so important for us yet again.
