Let him prove himself again this year on a 2.3 million early bird deal and get another year under his belt. Next year if he has another good year we can reward him with over 10 million on the second year of his early bird. No reason to overpay him this year.

Is this realistic? Cody just got 4/32 and I always thought Caleb was the better twin.

Was it realistic that Caleb needed J Cole to get him a job with us last year lol. If somebody wants to give him over 6 mil this year then i wish him the best of luck.

Im no longer entertaining Donovan Mitchell until he requests a trade and puts the pressure on his FO, we need cooperation from the player/agent to expedite a move. KD/Kyrie option A, Option B pivot to the trade market for 4s

And the wait continues… how many more days before we get either KD/Mitchell/Kyrie?
To succeed, attitude is equally as important as ability.

Couldn’t we treat the Kyrie situation like the kawhi situation? Get him here for one big gamble at a ring and if he leaves he leaves. Obviously we wouldn’t have to give up too much to obtain him as well.

Although Miami has lost Tucker already, next season they are gaining a healthy Oladipo for the first time in a bunch of years. He'll have a summer to keep getting his legs stronger, actually work on his game, play in some high-level pickup games, have Spoelstra actually put in actions for him, setup the offense to utilize him in it and should be much more consistent offensively. Miami may already be gaining a very good 2-way player that they really didn't have last year. If Miami can find a solid replacement for Tucker, they may actually be better than they were last year although they do need to still add more talent.

If he does well this coming season, next summer they can resign Oladipo with Bird rights and then have a nearly 30 million expiring contract of Lowry's to move. Things will get better. The roster should be stronger the next 2-3 years then it was last year. Miami's in a good spot, just not the best spot.

Spoiler:

Of course, these highlights are with him with pain in one leg with a botched surgery that he was trying to live with. He mentions he thought the pain was part of the process of healing.

For Lowry and a filler sure. Thats one way to get rid of Lowrys contract and start fresh next year. You get Kirie to the playoff watch him put up buckets next to Jimmy and Bam hopefully win a championship and watch him leave in free agency to the lakers. Refresh, Retool start again look for a replacement.

That's not his job....

Its like saying Pat is so incompetent, the only way we can get players is if they force their way here. That's not how it works and you are really underselling Pat here. Sure he makes many mistakes like Lowry and Duncan but he also gets many things right. Its Pats job to make trades to make us a better team. That's Pat's job. That's not anyone else job.
