im starting to think miami has a real shot at KD and are all in on KD right now... if its between the suns and miami i think heat have the upperhand by far.. im just not impressed by a package surrounded ayton... would never considered trading kd for such a player. the heat could offer a much more attractive package around Herro/Lowry/Vincent/3 1st Rounders.

Assuming there isnt some sleeper team out there offering a kawi leonard type player, miami is still in this.

brooklyn is going to need to rebuild, so there going to be looking for youth and picks... this notion that brkn is going to get a superstar for KD is just unrealistic.. hes to old, and has a short window to win more titles. whos going to want to give up a young prime superstar like mitchell for KD? not only are we one his prime destinations, but we also imo have the best rebuilding package to offer.

No way Bam is not included in the KD trade.

Nets/Heat will also need to find a way to send Ben Simmons to a 3rd team.

But Bam is gone if you want KD here.

They can keep him then, if he was 30 and didn’t have serious injuries recently it would be different but I’m not giving up the future for someone who’s 34

im fine moving bam for KD, hect yes. Herro/Bam/1 f9rst Rounder. Boom.

Make it happen.

Lowry
Strus
jimmy
Crowder
KD

we could win a title with a KD/jimmy DUO.

Edit : i made an adjustment, instead of offering 3 first, i only would offer one ... because KD is old... and we would be overpaying giving them that much picks.

Agree with you on this one. Not giving up on Bam who is not in his prime yet. Rather wait for Mitchell even if it takes another offseason.

Cld you imagine we're cooking up a huge blockbuster that will bring in both KD & Mitchell in a huge 4 team trade.

Nick Friedell was on a radio show earlier and said Brooklyn was going to do their best to accommodate KD and get him to one of his preferred destinations. And for people that think Brooklyn is just going to hold him due to the years left on his contract, remember this

From BKN's perspective. Which package would you consider?

Heat Trade
C Bam / Claxton
PF O'Neale
SF Harris
SG Herro
PG Curry / Mills

offensively talented / Perimeter Defense sucks

VS

Suns Trade
C Ayton / Claxton
PF Simmons / O'Neale / Cam Johnson
SF Bridges
SG Harris
PG Curry / Mills

Balanced team all around

They will also have tons of draft picks in the future. Also, Kyrie will also be gone, and they will gain picks from it as well.

Posted this on the trade board…Pacers have cap space and apparently want to trade turner. IF they like Simmons maybe they can be a player in a 3 team deal, this also solves the problem of Brooklyn can’t having Simmons and bam on same team

Miami trades bam, herro, 2023 1st, 2025 picks, yurtseven, pick swaps

Miami gets Durant, Myles turner

Indy trades turner
Indy gets Ben simmons

Bkn trades Durant, simmons
Bkn gets: bam, herro, Robinson, yurtseven , picks

Turner
Durant
Jimmy
Strus/dipo
Lowry

Fairtrade for all teams involved. I just don't see BKN absorbing Duncan's contract since they have a similar player Joe Harris on their team. We still have to trade Duncan on a separate deal if we can.

The thing is if you want to win in butlers timeline and go for kd you trade bam and Herro.. because you only got bam anyway for future and lost a lot of future players.. best would be Mitchell, you can still win on butlers timeline and have bam and Mitchell for future without needing to rebuild.

Yeah durant is a all in move and bam shouldn’t be off the table. But if we don’t win a chip then our future is gutted

PJ stayed for a season & left for more money in team we beat while depleted. He was nvr about Heat. F*ck him. 76ers aren't winning sh*t, esp w/ Harden on the roster. PJ couldn't stay 1 more season to help Miami win a title. Jimmy even bought him a mother f*ckin' car & Duncan surprising him w/ a meaningful sneaker painting. Middle finger to him. I'ma lmfao if land that whale & win it all nxt season.

Say it louder for the people in the back who didn't hear........."MIAMI WILL NOT TRADE BAM". IF you haven't already figured it out after Riles told the world Tyler, Duncan & Strus shld give some of their pay cheque to Bam that he is considered perhaps the most valuable piece to this team. Wether you agree or not this is a fact. It's prob why this is taking so long, if Bam was on the table I think this may have been already over & we get our whale.
