Scoring. Much better. You’re being imprecise.
In what way is he much better at scoring? And while Brunson isn’t a great defender, Sexton is like the worst defender in the league
He has a .458 FG%, .378 3P%, 20.0 ppg career average and just came off a season average of 24.3 ppg ok great efficiency before a recent injury.
He actually edged Brunson‘s career best output in his rookie year already. Brunson is actually so underwhelming that a player people love to talk down literally outshines.

Brunson averaged 21.6ppg in 18 games the playoffs where games actually matter, Sexton played on tanks and the team got way better after his knee injury which oh by the way he had a season ending knee injury

I can calmly wait that out while you’re waiting for Howard Eisley II to take over.

Brunson has a higher career TS% and better 3 out of 4 years. He’s also not a chucker who doesn’t make anyone better. What has Sexton won in the league?

In 18 Games? That’s great, wow. Good for him. Wasn’t that even a contract year? That’s convenient.
As I pointed out, Sexton averaged 24.3 over 60 games, 20 over 218 games, is more than two years younger, much more suited to playing off Doncic and, speaking of which, never actually benefited from playing off Doncic yet.

He literally doesn’t have a single better year and Sexton has great efficiency for an actual lead guard.

his team never had 24.3 wins in a season with him on it (19, 19, and 22). The team was losing. He was scoring a lot of points in tank losses. Brunson was winning playoff series

He doesn’t have greater efficiency than Brunson. That’s a fact. Better is your own subjective interpretation. Brunson is more efficient. He’s also a better passer and turns it over less. And a better defender.

Yea, because playoff games is where a player can intentionally play better, have better stats and better efficiency in a contract year....why doesn't everyone do it?

24.3 ppg. Crazy, right? The Cavs are rebuilding and if you remove Doncic you could count on the Dallas Brunsons faring even worse than those Cavs teams.

The Mavs were 8-9 without Luka last season

You’ve really got the sample sizes down. You won’t convince me. We’ll agree to disagree.
I watched both of them play a lot. Sexton has been game planned against and proven more as a lead guard. He’s two years younger and clearly more talented. Brunson will soon fade into mediocrity.

The numbers disagree with you (KDOT posted their numbers without Doncic and Garlans) but do you.

The numbers are actually in favor of Sexton.

Brunson is Howard Eisley now? I thought I had seen every variation by the self hating Knick fan, but this one might be tops.

I don't understand how anyone can talk sh67 about sexton. Proved to be efficient scroring machine in his first year. If this was RJ we'd be like, he's young and got so much growth left. Right now Sexton isn't a point guard , but if Nate could be a playoff winning starting 1, I think sexton can too.
