Dont Worry, I got word Benny the Butcher recording F*uck Alec Burks as we speak.

Only a player hater can write a song against MJ Burks. Probably some struggle rapper who matches his snapback to his sneakers, and goes on rants about mumble rap when everybody's just having a good time.

Yeah as a fan of Beal, that's some crazy ****. If there weren't a salary cap or hard cap then go for it but otherwise...

Giving a NTC to someone who, at their best, isn't even a top 10 guy is about as disastrous as it can get for a GM and ownership group and I also like Beal... You kill any potential leverage you have in future trade negotiations and let the player control the narrative. At least when Phil gave Melo the NTC he got a slight "discount" on the deal. the trade-off wasn't worth it but at least you could sell that you were able to save some money because of it...

I honestly think this is a worse outcome for the Wizards than just letting him walk for free. You are now officially stuck unless they know something we don't about Durant or another star coming to town, which I just highly doubt...

My guess is they just wanted to keep the guy for ticket sales. That they're staying mediocre is great news for the Knicks who own their draft pick with the following protections:

2023 first round draft pick from Washington
Washington's 1st round pick to New York (via Houston to Oklahoma City) protected for selections 1-14 in 2023, 1-12 in 2024, 1-10 in 2025 and 1-8 in 2026; if Washington has not conveyed a 1st round pick to New York by 2026, then Washington will instead convey its 2026 2nd round pick and 2027 2nd round pick to New York [Houston-Washington, 12/2/2020; Houston-Oklahoma City, 7/30/2021; New York-Oklahoma City, 6/23/2022]

SG: CJ/Merrill

He would work really well with Haliburton...I would like to see it.

haliburton might lead the league in assists next to ayton :o

He was avg 9.6 assists in indy in 26 games after the trade. That was with Jalen Smith and Terry Taylor...He would find Ayton a lot.

It’s obviously not first hoop doc from NYC I can name a bunch more as well. But those are old and never put the spotlight on what a NYC guard is like this. We live in a world people don’t even understand that what a NYC PG is anymore. They don’t know that fancy dribbling for the most part started here. I have those convos all the time with my friends how there is no more NYC PGs like that in the NBA. there used to be a time when the NBA at any given Time had a bunch of NYC PGs. Schit A lot of these cats don’t under stand Kyrie Handle is from NYC.

We used to be the city of guards.

There is a few young cats that I know of that I hope break that trend.

So yeah I will be watching a doc paying homage to the city of guards.
