I wasn't really sold on Chet being more than a fringe all star but I'd be more than happy to see him come in and become an mvp caliber guy in 3-4 years. Which is probably a ridiculous overreaction to one summer league game but just saying I'd like to see more of these 7 ft unicorn types pan out.

I think Lofton is okay but I don't think he'll be Giannis.

I thought the concern with Chet was durability and strength NOT skill. He clearly can show you his skills but the concern was would he get bullied and can he hold up in 82+ games per season. You’re not going to get the answer to that in one summer league game. SMH

There's definitely still a question imo as to whether his skill and athleticism will hold up on the offensive and defensive end. Because he's labeled as being potentially great on both ends though obviously he will get bullied in the post at times.

lots of laughable takes in here. A 280 lb Lofton, allowed to charge and use his off arm to create space scored a few times. Oh no! What about the turnovers caused and times Holmgren shut him down? And exactly how many 280 lb guys with offensive skill will Holmgren face? Wait, are you telling me that he is going to have a problem defending Embiid? Yeah, everyone does. The guy averaged 30 ppg and is a top 5-7 offensive center of all time and there's only one of him in the league.

I'm looking forward to seeing how he fares against NBA players. In two games he hasn't faced an NBA rotational player yet.
