We had the ability to sign him to an offer sheet, which would have given us considerable leverage in any negotiations with Phoenix.

Weaver knowingly and deliberately gave up that ability.

If that doesn’t convince you that Ayton isn’t part of the plan I’m not sure what to say.

Got to see Cade and Grant reunite on the sidelines after the half of the first SL game. Big smiles and an excited hug. Nice to see guys leave the organization on good terms like that.
