How many fan mentions once the game starts? over/under at 18, discounting the 72 mentions on Blue Jays central

Serious teams aren't starting a combination of Banda/Lawrence in major league baseball games. I guess it's not Hatch at least?

Openers tend to work better when you aren't using guys with 6.50 ERAs who weren't good enough to stick on the Pittsburgh Pirates. Strong stuff from management again.

I would rather have Gage pitching for us than Banda. Still puzzling to me why he got sent down to Buffalo, when he had good outings for us. Not sure what management sees in this scrub Banda, who has been terrible this year with Pittsburgh.

Lourdes is an outrageously bad outfielder.

On a real note we either trade for some pitching or risk missing the playoffs

Once they stop putting all their resources into projects to make sure all the Jays players are in the All Star game they will start working on that

You may think the Jays called up Castillo to start in favour of Kikuchi. Well, you'd be wrong. Can't wait to see Hatch again. And we'll see Castillo and his scoreless 4 innings of work relegated to low leverage long relief.

Just like the Hatch start, this is an embarrassment. Bet they bring in Castillo now and waste his innings in a blowout.
