8-)

He's a smart player. Could be in our rotation day 1.

They must teach them well in Michigan. This kid knows what to do and where to be on the basketball court on both ends. It's crazy how much he impacted the game without even taking a single dribble :o

Juwan Howard is a loose canon but he’s doing his job over there. Recruiting will be easy if he continually produces productive NBA players.

Feel like he's a player type we didn't have on the roster.
Moved really well without the ball, and made some shots.
This type of player will like playing with Fultz, Franz and Paolo.
This type will also open those driving lanes for those, his guy won't be able to sag in the middle.
IF he,Harris, Okeke can hit corner threes at a near 40%(I know, game one of SL), this makes everything easier.

I only watched the 1st half of the game last night (old guy), and was really focused on watching Paolo on defense the whole time.
How was Houstan's defense?

He exceeded what I expected from him by far in game 1 of SL. Of course its summer league but he is probably one of those guys whose skill set is better suited for the NBA game like Franz. We need shooters and he brings that plus alert cutting. Excellent finisher prospect for Paolo, Franz, and Fultz playmaking.

Not yet.

I THINK (my speculation) we are trying to make space for him in the 15-man roster but KDs drama is holding up everything.

I remember when we drafted him... his potential talent would slide nicely into the starting lineup next to fultz in the backcourt. Had tons of hope for him at the beginning of his career and filling that SG roll.... but didn't think he was going to come out swinging. Great first game Caleb!

Not gonna lie... i would get confused at times cuz i didn't know if they were saying houston or houstan. :-D

Probably the perfect situation for him, comes in with all eyes on Paolo.

I find it odd he is not signed yet. So can you draft a second round pick and never sign them? If they are playing in summer league for you doesn't there have to be some sort of contract for that? I just dont get why he isnt signed or at least not on a 2 way deal that could get converted later once the roster spot clears up.
