Blazers another bum franchise. Paying Dame as if he’s the 2nd coming of MJ. They literally paying him as if he won multiple championships or something. 60 million dollars a year for Damian Lillard is absurd

He still had about 3 years left on his current deal — this extension brings his total to 5 years left.

2023-24: $46m

2025-26: ~$59m

A overpay for somone who's going to be 37 years old by the end of the contract,but can't blame a guy from going after the money. I just hope the Blazers surround Lillard with a better team at some point considering how loyal he has been towards them.

Wow...$60m a year.

I like in Portland and they do love Dame here, but even some of the most die hard Blazer fans I know acknowledge that it might be time to move on from Dame and enter a rebuild. This team is a treadmill team and 60m for Lillard basically locks them in to that trajectory.

If I'm Luka, I am asking for 100 mil per. Lillard isn't even a top 15 player based on last year and he's getting 60 mill? Nah fam. 100 mill.
