I now know why Bingham wasn't drafted.
Eating crow on some of my posts about him.

Hardy can score for sure. He need to improve and understand where and when force shoots.

I'm Sorry for soundchaser but Bingham seems pretty unplayable. Moses Brown 2.0

I like Pajola also

I'm not watching, but if Pajola looks good, then level of competition must be pretty low.

Lawson is by far the 2nd best player so far on this team.

Hardy is even better than I thought he'd be but Lawson is the biggest pleasant surprise.
Seems like he is the type of wing that would eventually fit our system.
Great high energy defender, engaged at all times, hustles like Green and Powell, and has a very good looking 3pt shot.
Hopefully he'll continue to play well in the SL.

Lawson can really shoot. That shot looks pure.

Hardy is definitely not a primary ballhandler or playmaker guy right now. He's a shooting guard and scorer.

Yep, Soundchaser and I have a lot of crow to eat because we were both really harping on that guy :(

Hardy seems to play a lot more mature than I thought.
I still love his potential and possibility of contributing early in his career.

What a dunk by Lawson!

Looks like we're gonna lose but that was exciting at least.

Well, the Mavs SL team plays like the Mavs...blows big 4th quarter lead.
Oh well, OT means more development time.

Hardy lost the game with a 2/3 horrible TOs.

Lawson is good, he earns the Bingham spot.

Tough loss, hope Hardy doesn't take it too hard.

Lawson is certainly fun to watch.
Hope he keeps it up because he is the type of guy that we could use and the type of guy Kidd would love.

At least Moses was actually long and could finish around the rim. Granted it's 1 game but that was very disappointing from Bingham.

We need Bingham to be better but I just don't see it.
I'm afraid we'll need to go shopping for another center.

I liked what I saw overall. Some thoughts:

Hardy - Scored the ball very well. He was clearly the most talented player on the court but his big weakness of "decision making" definitely showed at times. He also could not finish at the rim and that was against some less athletic bigs like Simonovic.

AJ Lawson - Really shot the ball well and even had a nice dunk to tie the game in the closing seconds. Reminded me of Wayne Ellington.

Moses Wright - Didn't really have any noteworthy stats other than 3 blocks but had I think he impacted the game pretty well. He has a big NBA wing body and moves well on the court. I'd want him to continue playing in our G-League team as I think he has some talent but definitely needs more development.

Bingham - Was bad. Missed all his shots, half his free throws and had 8 fouls. Even when he won a jump tip, he somehow tipped it hard enough to the opponent instead. I got literally nothing good to say about his game today. Hopefully it was mostly nerves and he's better the next games.

my observations from the Mavs-Bulls game
Simonovic and AJ Lawson both looked great.
Simonovic has good size, fundamental, excellent awareness, and puts himself in great spots.
Lawson shot the **** out of ball, does well for himself by relocating on a play. Has good intangibles.

Hardy looked so-so with questionable decision making at times, like trying to split the double team or driving into a congested lane. Although he did make a few nice plays for his teammates.

Dalen Terry looked like a swiss-army knife out there. His game will never flash, but he looks promising as a role-player.
Psychotic. It didn’t make sense. I don’t know how you make it make sense

Hardy needs to learn to play with multiple gears.
He gets locked into his highest gear while going downhill into traffic and gets in trouble.
He needs the game to slow down for him. Hopefully Luka & Kidd can get the kid over the hump.
