You skipped over steps like meaningless wins and meaningless vet minutes and the Knicks failing to trade for Scoot even though they scout the hell out of him when the season is over because no team thinks 40 2nds + 11th pick is worth Scoot

Don’t worry if he doesn’t sign to CAA none of this will matter…

2023 includes the High School players as well. Keep our picks and see what we can accomplish next offseason.

That hasn’t been confirmed and since the NCAA has started paying players, rules have been changed to allow guys to qualify for college sooner, the transfer protocols, and Ignite has helped draw attention to the G-League I think it has been placed on the back burner.

2023 is supposed to be another strong draft though so let’s see.

That’s what bothers me, if Collin Sexton stayed with CAA and Jalen Brunson signed with Klutch. Would we have Sexton on our roster instead of Brunson? I don’t know man, if it were flip flopped would we go with the CAA guy or the right guy basketball wise ?

Probably not. :nonono: I also don’t think this FO becomes fixated with Ivey if he was Klutch either.

This is one reason why I wanted that Nuggets pick. This 2023 draft is supposed to be pretty strong...I think if we didn't want to draft three kids in 2023 in the 1st round or use all those 2nds, we probably could have done the whole trade 2023 picks for future picks maneuver and get more value.

In hindsight, the Knicks really should have dumped Cam to get rid of Burks and Noel

Never happening. No one is trading 3 blah picks for a generation point guard prospect.

This. Any GM who trades a top 3 pick in next years draft may as well be signing resignation papers unless they get Greek freak or Jokic in return

I'm sorry we hear this EVERY year. 2 Summers ago the board had a collective orgasm at the mere mention of BJ Boston. We had to tank to land the generational talent that was BJ Boston.

9 months later son went with the 51st pick

Lillard will make 60m at the end of his contract
Gobert gets traded for 5 #1s
Harden was traded for 19 billion picks and swaps

now look at the list of every finals team here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NBA_champions

Literally the Miami Heat are the only team the last 30 years whose top 2 players weren't drafted by the team.

guys, the only way to get good and to actually compete for a championship is to draft a star. Drafting a star means u get to pay them nothing while you can spend the rest of the capspace filling out the roster.

The next GM must be Sam Hinkie.
