I still don't get the Wilt 1967 season he was like 5th in scoring on his own team in the finals and it was his best attribute.

The Finals were only 6 out of 96 games Wilt played that season, or about 6.25% of his total season. The most important 6.25% to be sure, but still only 6.25%.

Wilt averaged 28.5 rebounds in those finals, that is a pretty good attribute. He also lead his team in assists and anchored the defense.

Sure, his scoring average was only 5th on his own team, but his FG% was .560 with his four higher scoring teammates at .399, .449, .451 and .455. Wilt's efficiency in the Finals was on a whole other level, just like it was in the regular season when he posted a 129 TS+ and 441.5 TS Add.

For comparison Shaq peaked at 116 TS+ and 302.8 TS Add.

It wasn't his best attribute though. Besides, he was by far the best player in the series, scoring isn't everything. He averaged almost 30 rpg in that series against Nate Thurmond (all-time great rebounder on his own), while blocking more shots than you can count and being the min playmaker on his team. Besides, he only didn't make 20 ppg mark because of his horrible FT shooting, Thurmond didn't slow down Wilt from the field.
