Can I conclude that except Pajola, the whole SL team can't guard anyone? Can't stay in front of players. Can't block nor box out effectively. With better frontcourt next game, is it a definite blow out next game? Moses Wright does blocked 3 shots with 5 foul, unfortunately. Bingham is beyond bad. 8 fouls in limited minutes.

The Bulls team ain't that talented. I think the Mavs team could do better, especially defensively. Stop penetration, protect the rim, secure the rebounds are basic stuff. Of course, I want more team plays and clutch plays.

Pajola has a lot of exp yet, he won the Italian Championship last year and the Eurocup this year.
He played a lot of tough games against very good players.

In SL the majority of the guys are kids, totally different situation.

Mfiondu Kabengele who I have wanted us to acquire for two years now had a solid game for Boston today. I expect him to make their team and make a name for himself in the league.

Sounds like the real OKC against Houston. I think Chet is simply another KP. When Chet bulk up, then Chet has to choose either 4 or 5 spot and not effectively handle either spot right. Then, Chet becomes injury-prone. That's the same story to repeat. I think this is a similar situation to Zion in different ways.

Well Cockburn played 15 minutes in a game for UTAH and grabbed 13 rebounds and scored 6. I am slightly upset that we did not snag him or Orlando who is also doing ok with Miami in summer league. We will get to see him on Monday night when the Mavs and Utah play. Of course Utah has Whiteside, Kessler, and Udoka Azabuike all at center so they will probably not carry a 4th center so maybe we need to do some reaching out to Kofi to see what his plans are if he fails to catch on with Utah. Somebody get a word to Cuban to watch that guy when he plays.

He should be a rebounding machine inside and establish himself, since the league doesn't box out, or play much defense. Cockburn will benefit great from the NBA and understand why Kobe Bryant once said the NBA is easier than. High school ball.

KP didn't have Chet's handles, or Chet's shooting form, OTOH, KP's frame looked much more willing to take on weight than Chet.

Taco Fall plays like a beast. The Mavs fail mightily against Fall. Let's sign Tacko to roster spot.

The ball movement is just so bad out there. I like Hardy and his potential but I really do not see the playmaking ability from him yet. Too much iso and look for my own type offense.

I'll take Lawson over Hardy right now, he is NBA ready.

Hardy is 2/3 years away from NBA rotation.

That's exactly the same situation Dinwiddle against Gobert in playoff. But this SL interior offense and defense is not even comparable to Powell. As expected, Hardy struggles mightily because heavy reliance on straight line drives.

Hopefully Hardy is better than Dinwiddle at 28. Hardy should learn more from Luka. Another area of concern is defense. Hardy is super foul prone and not able to stay in front of offensive players. Lateral movements need work. So is basketball smart.

Hardy should spend more time on film session staying players like Luka, Steph, Dame on handles and decision making.

To win games, Hardy has to learn how to be an impactful on the floor forcing the defense to adjust. Players like Barnes can score but not impactful by any means. This type of player can only play a bench role for pure scoring. Examples are Gordon, Clarkson, etc. But still, even to be this kind of player, Hardy has to handle, shoot and defend better.
