This is what I see ....KCP totally makes the Denver lineup more lethal and complete. The Wiz PG unit last year was bottom 5 of PG's in the NBA and even with Morris and Wright are STILL bottom 5 of PG's in the NBA.

Situations in basketball are always fluid for players that aren't considered foundational pieces, and there are always conversations that are taking place.

As a GM what exactly are you supposed to say to somebody when they inquire about their status?

The charge of lying seems a bit over the top, but if I am KCP, other than the inconveniences that come with being uprooted, he's in a much better situation in Denver.

I really like his fit alongside Murray and Jokic, assuming they stay healthy, this could be a nice squad to follow.

All these dudes drag with Wiz when they leave. At least all the vets who have been around other teams. Even Kuz last year dropped some quotes about being self aware, etc., and he hasn't even left yet. Westbrook and Robin Lopez haven't said anything about the team so maybe that's something positive.

Supposedly Terd hired some high priced consultant to turn over the management team when Grunfeld left. Results so far not all that promising. Biggest change is actually making draft picks instead of trading them away but even there, results are not all that great. We have several backup forwards now from the draft which means no more trading for Ariza (kind of a mixed blessing tbh).

DC is a fun place, I understand why sometimes people are sad to leave. Live in the moment, I guess.

Good for KCP. Seems like a real decent guy and is a real good role player. I'm sure he'll be great on the Nuggets. Still can't believe how much the Lakers traded for Westbrook.
