I'm not considering Jovic an asset right now as if he's included in a deal will have to take like 27 days now for anything to be official. You don't want to have a waiting period like that and risk people changing there minds. Yurtseven on the other hands looks a bit fishy.

Just off the top of my head, they could actually do 2 different transactions.

Say they do something like Lowry, Herro, Yurtseven and lots of picks and swaps for KD and then they could try to reroute Lowry for something else.

Turn around and agree to a 2nd trade of a Robinson and Jovic for Harris.

This type of trade will more then just trading for KD, Brooklyn's going to want to move some other salaries or get other assets. They turn Harris into Robinson and try to rehabilitate his value playing with a playmaker like Simmons.

It may/probably won't happen but it is one scenario they could do.

I kind of hate Durant. Looks like we have a chance at getting him. Whatever, I'll get over it as long as we can get him to stop being a baby back bitch.

You better not, 'cause you know Sean Marks is asking hard for your boy

We can only hope Pat won’t set the franchise back like that for a 34 year old with serious injury history

KD has to play ball with the team if he is requesting going to specific teams. If starts with tomfoolery in social media that could harm the relationship to get him to a destination of his choice. I am sure there is a limit to that though, if this keeps dragging on, and Brooklyn keeps up the hard ball, he will start expressing his distain.

Andy got my hopes up too. Dining with Sean Marks have to mean something going on. Let's get it done.

This is speculation, Brooklyn will play hardball to get more assets. Unless it hits the media that they reject an offer set around Tyler Herro its just speak.

I'd give Bam and Herro and whatever Nets wanted outside of Butler if they would send KD/Simmons

Why do people still fall for this? I don't care 2 hoots unless Marks comes out and says he doesn't like Herro as an asset. Everyone else has an axe to grind, including fans.

I don't understand why the few NBA teams in play for Durant would not just sit back and wait for Brooklyn to implode. Time is not on Brooklyn's side (unless they believe they can go forward with an Irving-Durant combo), so there is no real reason to go too far beyond what probably has been offered, especially given the constraints in any deal involving Phoenix (Nets don't want Ayton and Phoenix isn't including Booker or Paul) or Miami (Brooklyn can't get Bam without moving Simmons, who presumably doesn't have a high trade value).

Toronto seem to be the team that can offer the best package because they have enough assets to offer without gutting their team.

Maybe the under-the-radar team that might be able to sneak in a good offer is New Orleans, with a package around Ingram, Graham, and Valanciunus. I am not sure where New Orleans stands with draft picks, though. McCollum-KD-Zion would be a heck of a trio.

Whatever is going on there is too much smoke for the heat not to be serious about kd

The fact that we are having discussions, holding up other moves (herro extension/trading for a pf) makes you think that the heat believe they have a good shot

The Nets FO is not playing their hand correctly.

They might outsmart themselves here.

They have a very good offer on the table from a team on Durant's wishlist. And they out here acting silly.

First time i’ve really felt that Marks may just gift us Durant here.
