Since leaving the Mavs in 2016, McGee has averaged 15 mpg in the regular season and 10 mpg in the postseason. In that time, he's averaged 20+ mpg just one time on the pre-AD Lakers team. I would definitely not bet on him getting 20+ mpg like some are suggesting on their rotation charts.

Callie Caplan reported than Nets approached the Mavs about Kyrie and Mavs had no interest.
Mavs could add Kyrie to the Brunson trade and trade THJ for Kyrie, Nets drop 20M in salary and come close below the hardcap, while the Mavs get their scorer next to Luka, this is much better than the reported Westbrook for Kyrie swap, Mavs are contender with Kyrie, if he steps out of line, they can bench him and he's expiring anyway.

Cuban's ego will refuse him to work a S&T with the Knicks. They were able to pull talent from his company and that won't sit well with him. Hence the Knicks will sign Brunson using their cap space instead.

Mavs won't be the main teams involved in a Kyrie or KD trade, but will be opportunistic with the fallout of these trades.

Only team pursuing Kyrie are the Lakers, he's a huge risk, but he's also an enormous reward, I truly think this team is a contender with Kyrie, the onlt cost really is tax dollars for Cuban, but it'll return to him if Luka is happy and the team goes into deep PO run.

I get it. But Kyrie needs to sign an extension before a deal can be made. I guess this can be applicable for any team looking to get him. You risk him going to be Lebron's girl Friday in LA if he is still UFA by next summer.

I think the Mavs could force a sign-n- trade for Rose given Luka's comment on the offseason moves. And NYK is actually looking to trade Rose elsewhere.

He already opted in, no need for extension, it doesn't matter what happens next year, if he goes, he goes, Mavs can find a replacement, they can't this offseason, they have no assets and they are hardcapped.

I'm ok for Rose S&T, his prime has passed but for 15/20 minutes from the bench he could a steal.

Irving for cheap (THJ) is good. But won't happens.

With the way Kidd and Nico has been handling interviews, I get the feeling that they are pretty much done dealing this summer. They seem to be content to go to war with the current squad and just see how far they go again.

Things might change closer to the deadline though where there may be more sellers.

Can the Mavs just dump Tyler Dorsey back in Europe and just sign Lawson? I dont know, saves the Mavs like 20 bucks in plane tickets?

Luka Din Frank
Hardaway Pinson Hardy
DFS Bullock Green or Lawson
Wood Kleeber Bertans
McGee Powell ________ see Utah for players that they cut. Heck Whiteside may only end up with vet min money. Might be fun to replace Boban with Tacko maybe he would get some cool taco bell commercials. Kofi should be a natural for Starbucks.
