Boston is bigger and stronger and it shows. Preston looks better and more comfortable. Diabate's motor and energy is off the charts. Looks like he has some footwork as well. Team definitely has something to work with in him. Moon is legit but sadly there's no minutes or room for him on the main team. Hope I'm wrong but it looks like the Scrubb ship has sailed

--Yah, that Diabate spin move to the hole was cool. :D Plus on D he showed the quickness and feel to negotiate the no-man's land between the rim and the perimeter. That's 20-odd feet to patrol and few bigs can manage it. I also loved how he dove for that ball on the open floor and we came up with it. If we can throw him at Jokic for even 10 mpg it's a successful pick.

--Scrubb can't finish. He gets to the hole great but after that, it's only a 50-50. Since he's no sharpshooter and doesn't draw contact, he's just not a weapon. And he's not a 3 or a D either. So wtf.

--Agree: Too bad about X-Moon. Plays the game right, just not enough of it.

--Preston seems to be developing himself as a pass-first PG/Floor General and I think it's a wise career choice. He looks great out there. TJ McConnell will walk away from the NBA with at least $50 million, he's not the least bit athletic, and can't shoot a lick. Do the math.

Moussa is gonna be a player.. going to be a spark plug on both ends. I hope he gets some decent rotation exposure this season.

Jay really impressed me with his growth, BJ was expected, Moussa was better than I expected but not gonna hype myself just yet, Jay disappointed me...all those auto cards of his I bought are now napkins.

I feel bad for Scrubb. He was forcing it all game. Like he wanted to prove he belongs. I wouldn’t say selfishly but like he was trying to catch nba eyes all in one game.

Still impressed with Diabate. He’s still really raw but coaching and time/reps will do wonders there. His awareness on both ends but especially the defensive side is a welcomed sight.

I thought Perry had a strong showing too. I wouldn’t mind him and Brown having the Giles/Hart battle in camp.

Diabate looks really athletic and I think with good development can become a versatile NBA defender. He looks and Carrie’s himself differently on the floor than Fi, who has a great looking NBA body but looks a lot stiffer and more upright IIRC.

He’s not as stout as Zu, but we’ve always wanted more of a change of pace back up center anyway. Looking comfortable in that no man’s land as you say is not an everyday ability for bigs, you need some fast twitch muscle in you for that.

Diabate looked good. Didn't force things, good instincts. You could clearly see that the foudations for the future skills he'll need are in place.

Boston looked exactly what I'd hoped he would look like--an NBA player in a Summer League game.

Much to my surprise and relief, Preston looked kinda the same way. Sure it's Summer League ... but how many games did we have last year where a Clipper recorded six assists? Preston has legit court vision and passing.

Thanks! Was wondering what was going on with my TV grid and why I was set to record Suns/Mavs

Diabate with the corner three? If that's in his bag now, look out.

I don’t care if it’s too early but Diabate is a favorite all ready.

Love Preston’s calm.

Wish we could keep Moon.
