The Knicks and the Heat appear to be the front runners.

Knicks got like 3 more firsts on draft day. If it's a battle of draft picks, we lose every time.

Heat can't really match what the Knicks can offer for Mitchell. Knicks have 8 picks at their disposal.

Ainge can tell when a team is desperate -- just did it to Minnesota. He's gonna wait this out and get the next decade's worth of Knicks picks.

So we’re top 2 for both Mitchell and KD the way I see it. Just get it done!

I’d assume the Knicks would offer something like this

NYK receive: Mitchell
jazz receive: Toppin, Reddish, Fournier + 4 FRP

i don’t think they would include Barrett and this probably beats our deal

I think Donovan gets them 6 FRP's & 2 Swaps:

Yeah no bad vibes like that in here lol

If a deal is imminent I have a hard time seeing it being Miami just because you guys are so set on KD at the moment. But you never know, maybe they talked again and the Heat would prefer to just land Don and secure the bag. We'll see what happens, I'm a Jazz fan but if he's traded I'm rooting for Miami now and will be pulling for you guys to win it. lol

That 4 team deal looks fair for all teams. It's much more realistic than Herro on 120M extension + 3 late firsts like many of our fans are pushing. Wonder how we would look back at this in the playoffs when Jimmy has no #2 and Bam is still passing up open jumpers against 6'5 tweeners.

Shhhh…. we’re not supposed to say that out loud.
We’ve gotten very lucky the past 3 years with the injuries and the bubble. Would we get lucky again vs a much better Celtics, Bucks, Philly and a few more?

I don't know if the Jazz view us as top 2 but it was reported back in January that Mitchell has Miami and New York at the top of his list with the Heat being his heavy favorite.

Oh ok, that makes sense, but unfortunately unless Mitchel tells them he wants out they will find him a home that is best served for Utah by getting the best return, and unlike Durant which called out the teams he wanted, teams will field some pretty strong offers we won't be able to match.

And the Lakers were fortunate that Bam and Goran got hurt. Also fortunate that AD made jumpers in the bubble at a rate that he has never approached before or since. Bucks were fortunate that Kyrie and Harden got hurt and that KD's foot was on the line. Warriors were fortunate that Ja got hurt and the Suns imploded. Toronto was fortunate that KD and Klay got hurt. Happens every year. You can go on and on and on.

Rudy was ok with going to Minny. Better believe the Wolves checked on that. If Donovan Mitchell tells lets just say the Pelicans privately he's got no interest they'd be out on him. Stars players usually go where they want. Mitchell likely won't be public about it but now that its out there that the Jazz are exploring options I would imagine he'll let them know his preferences.
