Wonder if Miami would be after Michell more then KD if instead of having Oladipo and PJ Walking... they had retained PJ and let Oladipo walk although that wasn't really an option. Currently Miami has a huge hole at the PF and multiple quality players (compared to PF) to plug in at SG.

The team is remodeling. Role players is secondary right now. Like I told you their priority is to get a new number one on this team and then rebuild around him.

What? Both Mitchell and KD would be #1 options in Miami. I'm talking about the interest level of going after KD while leaving a note with Utah that they're interested in him. Seems odd to not be trying to go after both at once, it's possible to multitask.

It's quite possible that Miami misses out on both.

Getting one will exhausted most of the Heat trade chips. Unrealistic to expect to get both. The Heat will gain more trade chips after jan 15 to help find the needed role players.

i would not deal with this ainge guy.... waste of time... i would be all in on trying to pair butler with KD.... could be the greatest duo ever. Butler + KD would crush the competition. you can get KD by offering Bam + herro + 3 FRPs.... you are not gettin a better offer than that.

ICC to answer your post, “we” don’t know anything. That was my personal opinion just off connecting the dots. Unless we swing a KD trade without Bam I guarantee we’re top 2 for Mitchell, probably his top preferred destination. It’s everywhere.

its KD... hes literally the best player in the world... we can not focus on what happen this season in brooklyn. Brkn was a disaster, no chemistry, no coaching, drama, you cant be madd at KD for not having the best post season with all that going on... and now wanting out and requesting a trade. Get KD a full offseason workout with Coach Spo and the heat training staff and i guarantee you he will be a top 2 player in the nba again for atleast another 3 season. that gives the heat a possiblity of a damn three peat.

no, i would rather have mitchell/bam/jimmy but i dont think danny ainge will deal with miami. Bitter rivals since his celtics days. i feel like hed ruin our shot at KD and waste our time.

Giannis is the best player in the world but I was mainly questioning your comment saying Jimmy and KD would be the best duo ever lol. They wouldn’t even be the best duo in Heat history and that’s with an old declining Wade due to injury.

Ainge's timing on leaking the Mitchell news is suspect... right when it's being made public how intense Miami's pursuit of KD is. Ainge is a Celtic and he will always put Celtics over his current job's best interest if it means he can somehow get in the way of Riley's plans. Maybe it's paranoia but when else have you seen a GM show up at another team's playoff game decked out in their gear. His fandom didn't all the sudden stop just because he's hired to mid organization like Utah.
