its KD... hes literally the best player in the world... we can not focus on what happen this season in brooklyn. Brkn was a disaster, no chemistry, no coaching, drama, you cant be madd at KD for not having the best post season with all that going on... and now wanting out and requesting a trade. Get KD a full offseason workout with Coach Spo and the heat training staff and i guarantee you he will be a top 2 player in the nba again for atleast another 3 season. that gives the heat a possiblity of a damn three peat.

Oh trust me I want KD bad, as long as it doesn’t cost Bam or Jimmy. If it does then get me Mitchell.

Giannis is the best player in the world but I was mainly questioning your comment saying Jimmy and KD would be the best duo ever lol. They wouldn’t even be the best duo in Heat history and that’s with an old declining Wade due to injury.

sorry but i disagree. KD is better than giannis and its not even close. BRkn was destrying Giannis the year Bucks won the title until kyrie got his ankle sprained and KD still damn near won by himself. Second, we your comment on jimmy/kd duo.... im not sure they would be better than bron/wade or wade/shaq but it would be interesting to see it go down.. you cant completely dismiss a jimmy/kd duo like that, they could really challenge some of the other greatest duos of all time.

I like Mitchell. He's who I wanted in the lottery in his draft year, but he went a pick early (we got Bam, so it worked out fine).

But if the option is either Mitchell or KD for a similar package, I'm taking KD and not looking back. He's a matchup nightmare and he's done it at the top level for a long time. Injuries are an issue, but if healthy, he'll continue to age like fine wine.

I don’t see how the Knicks don’t have the assets to get Mitchell because they definitely do, it just goes down to how much does Ainge like Herro and if he’s willing to take less draft picks from us

Eh, maybe. If the Suns offer is Bridges + Cam Johnson + Shamet and picks, we have no need to put Bam in the deal. Our non-Bam offer would be competitive with that.

If you can get this done it’s 100% the top option. Get Mitchell later in free agency. If you can’t get KD without giving up Bam you move on to trying to trade for Mitchell

Get KD now and when bam and Mitchell is in the heat of their primes at (28) and jimmy is probably gone or retired, we can have another run at championships.

You put Jimmy/Durant/Adebayo together with some shooters, we've got a very good chance of winning a 'chip for the next 2-3 years.

I saw enough from Gabe and Max last season to suggest they could be solid nominal starters and floor spacers. Dipo will play plenty and assume Herro's role, and Martin will get plenty of burn too.

How many guards do the knicks need tho lol they just signed jalen.. they got barrett and quickley evan fournier.. i guess they would be trading two of those guards and draft picks

Riley ain’t going to blink first he’s going for the gusto here, and if he pulls it off it will be his swan song, his grand finale, and how beautiful it would be. This summer has been a master class in maneuvering thus far and extreme display of patience. To me I feel like this is the front office version of Jimmy’s game 7 shot. If we come up empty we can at least know Riley swung for the fences, and tried to get us a deal that would legitimately make us final favorites, not just a reshuffle that pacified the fan base. We aren’t going for moral victories right now.

I put a trade up earlier that would involve Fournier, Toppin and Reddish + 4 FRPs for Mitchell

Brunson
Mitchell
Barrett
Randle
Robinson

that team would make the playoffs

You pair Jimmy and Bam with Mitchell and we have a good chance of winning a title for the next 8-10 years. To me Mitchell is a far more valuable piece

Oh injuries permitting we’re winning 2 of the next 4 like the big 3 era.

Yep. This is exactly how you keep a 15+ year Spurs like dynasty going (we’re about to start year 4 now)

Same. I just want something to happen If we can get Durant without giving up Bam or Jimmy and getting the team, then go for it. If not, now that Mitchell is more available...go for him.

My preference at this point is Mitchell because of age, and the fact that itbwould take less to get him...so we can stay semi-intact.
