Obviously, right now KD is the better player.
I don't know all Spider's details ... age, contract length and cost, injury history.
KD is less than desirable in terms of age 34, lots of recent injuries, and 4 years at high dollars. Is that enough to level them out?
meh

Do you really need to ask that?

Mitchell because he hasn't asked for a trade

Probably Mitchell, because he's more likely to play in more places and be happy and not quickly demand another trade. Obviously the age thing as well. I'd bet if they both get traded Mitchell gets the better haul since KD is limited to 3 or 4 teams he is willing to play for.

If your goal is to win a championship in the next few years KD. That said I like Mitchell more than most people on RealGM seem to, just not more than KD in the next few years.

Re: Mitchell or Durant?
I bet Mitchell will get more of a return and more attention on the trade market than KD because he's younger.
KD is PROBABLY a better player going into this year but Mitchell is still younger. you can at least rebuild the talent that you lost to in a Mitchell trade in Mitchell's prime vs KD going into the twilight of his career, tbh
KD is KD but KD is 34yo and doesn't have "great" leadership. he's a good leader but i'm convinced KD is more of a leader by his play on the court vs locker-room/ role model leader.

Re: Mitchell or Durant?
Mitchell isn't good enough to be the main guy and he'll probably never be. If my goal is to contend i'll take KD everyday who at 34 is 5x better than Mitchell.
