a 22 YO that was getting trapped more than Jimmy Butler, then proceeded to get injured. Yeah his stock is fine. 4-5 years away from his prime and he averaged 20/5/4 for the 1st seed in the East. He will bring back good value. Let's see how it plays out. Miami seems pretty confident

Based on ICCs post I’m thinking KD to Miami is a done deal and we’re keeping Jimmy and Bam. That’s the best outcome for us. Mitchell can come in 2026 and depending how they look KD and Jimmy can come back on friendly deals

Maybe I'm biased or something but it appears that I'm in the minority that sees the potential in Herro.

Yep, 3 and D. That’s all we need next to them. Try to get Pat Bev too if he’s bought out.

P-Bev would be a prime candidate if bought out, for sure.

There are plenty of players that aren’t good at defense in the league, Herro is 22 YO. He has plenty of potential

Saturday afternoon, Brooklyn spoke to our Miami team execs and made full intentions if they wanted Durant to pony up, Durant himself called His reps to explain he wants Miami he’ll or high water and phoenix is second. His team reps and Miami Heat players, Bam/Jimmy have been in communication that this can work and they can get championships. Durant feels Miami will surround the team with the right pieces, he also regards Spo as a creative coach that can get him a trophy. He is also sold on the fact Jimmy said to him you can get the rains and let me do the dirty work in the trenches and get you easy buckets, he is sold 150%.
Miami has had 4 face to face Meetings with Brooklyn since Saturday. The caveat here is Brooklyn does not want Herro, Lowry, or Duncan. They are asking Miami for Yurt, 3 FRPS, and to use Herro, Lowry or Duncan plus fillers to get them 3-4 more FRPS from another team if they can get 3 or 4 team trade. They are in on getting Durant here.
Utah called Miami last night to tell them they will now make Mitchell available and Herro is point on the deal. They asked for Bam, which Miami said absolutely not. Ainge likes Herro, but like Brooklyn wants nothing to do with Lowry or Duncan as well. They want 5-6 picks minimum. Need to find 3-4 team to swap them for more picks. Miamis picks Carry little weight other teams FRPS ideally those not on the top 5 in conference are more enticing. They expressed that Herro is there for the taking and Donovan has not been too happy behind closed doors, they want to do right by him as this is headed for a long rebuild which is what Ainge was hired to do. They feel like Herro can sustain a long rebuild with his age and due too eagerness to be the man can be a huge selling point to the fans and still sell tickets.
Miami feels that Donovan might be more feasible as of right now and dealing more with Utah may lower Brooklyns asking price. Miami holds Durant as a 1A player and Donovan as 2nd tier star caliber a la Jaylon Brown. Which ever way they feel they will attain one or the other.
There is a meeting with Miami and Utah tomorrow afternoon, involving a few other teams who have made themselves available for the transaction review. They could get this finalized by tomorrow night if they have all parties involved. The office is all on high alert everyone feels this is getting done this week, and whomever says yes first is who we get.

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

I think Brooklyn wants to swing full tank and picks, they may hold on to Ben and Kyrie after tonights news of Kyrie wanting to stay. They know Herro will fetch additonal picks for other teams.

And they could get some good draft picks from a bottom tier team who will want herro as well

4 meetings is absurd for a deal to not come out of it. We're getting our hopes up which both exciting and terrifying.

Gabe/Strus/Jimmy/KD/Bam
Dipo/Duncan/Caleb/Dedmon

that's a mean 9 man rotation as it stands. You know the FO would continue to build too.

Reports saying people have been in Durant's ear pushing Miami. Just wanna name drop 2 good friends of his...

Michael Beasley
Victor Oladipo
He's also cool with Dion Waiters. Not saying for sure these guys spoke to him about joining Miami, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did. They all enjoyed their time here for the most part.

I agree. That is the best outcome, assuming we don't gut the team for him. Second, I also agree that based on ICC post it kind of does seem like a done deal. As some have mentioned one thing to consider is the huge amount of cap space we will have in a few years when Jimmy and KD's contract expire...especially if it happens in the same year.

The timing of this plus Yurt and Jovic having quad injuries seems suspicious.

I think people see potential, just not on this team. Too many other needs to fill for a player that can’t win the starting role over Strus.

I don't think B-Easy or Waiters would have good things to say. Dipo, yes, probably. If ICC is correct, he has been in contact with Jimmy and Bam and has been essentially assured that it would be his team. That, if true, might have made all the difference.

ya miami is gettin a good reputation for players wanting to salvage there careers.... jimmy butler has blossomed in miami as a top 10 player in the league, lebron only became a champion after joining the heat, we got an old shaq a 4th title, and we are always in contention....no matter wat roster we put out, were always kickin the **** out of the competition.

I see the potential. I think a lot of people see the potential. It's just hard to have potential and be on a win now team.

I've defended Herro many times. I think he is judged way too harsh considering his age and the leaps he's made every year. If he leaps again next year, who knows how could he good be. People need to cut him some slack to row into the player he is going to be.

Phoenix fans are still confident they are getting KD….some local radio host there says that KD and the Suns are 100% focused on each other.

I meant in addition to the guys ICC called out. I don't doubt Bam and Butler probably reached out.
