This circus started last year in off-season with Kyrie being Kyrie. We just seeing what it looks like with KD jumping on board. Now piranhas circling around.

More proof Kyrie wants to come back.

There is no shot I'm taking back Westbrick if Kyrie is willing to play.

Let him play and rebuild his value.

The value in Kyrie is there......It's just Mr.Irving is masking it and refuses to put it on display because he is too good for that. That mask has to come off and show the world that he can lead this team. I think that if the Nets can win it all this year, everything is well worth it.

He is right but Nets need a facilitator and a solid passer, ala Ben Simmons WILL FIX that. I really liked the Harden/KD duo even when Harden struggled to score, but Marks should have found better wings who can shoot and defend. We learned the hard way and we move on. KD/Kyrie need a third guy along with a solid cast to do this. Simmons and the additions of Harris/O'Neale/Warren will solve A LOT of issues.

Nobody wanted to trade for Kyrie and now he got egg on his face so now he's just trying to save face but he still looks stoopid in the end lol can't make this up. No matter how talented you are teams will not pick u up if your a selfish entitled non team player. Look at Iverson and Marbury, those guys were still very talented and had game left in them before the NBA got rid of them. Doesn't matter the talent if your a nut case and can't conduct yourself as a professional.

If KD/Kyrie run it back, it will be the most joyless Nets season imaginable. Two nut cases who will go nowhere.

Maybe if we had a good coach.

This is why Marks is to blame heavily for this debacle. If we had a real coach, maybe he could mend some fences.

Dunning Kruger Syndrome guy ( Kyrie ), mental midget snake ( KD ) and Steve Trash are the main issues. Until some of you stop talking yourself into some fairy tale scenarios, this sh** show will keep happening. We already beat to death their past and nothing changed.

Put it to some of you plain and simple. THERE IS NOT ONE RESPECTABLE COACH OUT THERE THAT GAVE US A LOOK OR SPOKE WITH MARKS. NOT ONE !!! ASK YOURSELF WHY. THEY EITHER LEFT OR STAYING AWAY. For f*** sake vet players don't want to come here.

Marks is expiring contract himself. If he fails to meet expectations and get good/great return, he needs to go to. He clearly failed to manage egos of Tsai, Kyrie and KD. It's complete and utter incompetence. Not being able to make a trade will be nail in a coffin.

If Kyrie is still in the league after 2024 I will be shocked.

Either way, both he and Durant look really stupid now. Neither of them have any value.

I believe him. KD and Kyrie just wanted to chuck shots and when things got hard they just gave up.

And SHAME on Steve Nash and Sean Marks. They both should be embarrassed that an absolute professional like Dragic is saying this.

Kyrie didn't want a real coach tho? Feel like this point gets swept under the rug when discussing Nash.

Yes, Marks could've ignored KD and Kyrie and gotten Ty Lue or someone like that but Marks was still focused on keeping the stars happy at that point.

That's what Marks should be mainly criticized for, overly placating to the stars but tbh that feels like hindsight 20/20. There is maybe only 3 franchises in the whole NBA that would not have done the same (Spurs, Warriors and Heat), every other franchise would do whatever the star duo and then trio wanted. Just look at the Clippers. Difference is the Nets hitched their wagons to 2 headcases.

I'll believe Kyrie wants to stay when he plays a full season without finding an excuse to sit out barring injury. Was he not openly talking about wanting to reunite with LeBron? Obviously without any specifics, but I'm pretty sure he put the idea out there. The claim that he always wanted to stay is absolute **** and the claim that the Nets got "nasty" about thing is **** stupid. They were within their rights to play hardball when negotiating Kyrie's new contract due to how unreliable he's been. It's on him that he decided to sit out multiple times.

Talk is cheap. Don't give a f what kyrie says.

Only care about actions, prove it. Play with zero non health/emergency absences....

I dont know why some of yall so quick to want to trade Ben for Mitchell. Is he really better than him.
(Simmons and Mitchell are two months apart in age and both have been three-time All-Stars but Simmons has been All-NBA once and All-Defensive team twice, neither of which Mitchell has achieved.)
Ben still has untapped potential and is finally on a roster that fits his playing strength.

Even if you believe in Mitchell, we need to find a young star to pair with Simmons. Not send him off.

Jaylen Brown or Ingram would be great options.

The surprise team for KD is still Boston.

Our best bet is that Milwaukee soars and Boston gets off to another slow start.

Then they might feel like they need to add him.

This is absurd if true. And not surprised if it is.

**** Steve Nash and **** Sean Marks for hiring him. This clown needs to go ASAP.

I don’t know, I think Brown and Ingram both have that dog mentality, but I think I would rather Brown because I feel he’s a more proven product. But I’m not gonna doubt Ingram.
