Good point by the commentator - this is why you don't give the ball to a big (unless of course it's a good passing one) in end of game situations because you risk the pass not being made to the guys you want to have the ball.

It's pressure situations and so it's good practice. But you also have to take advantage of the strengths of the personnel - "... gotta get the ball to the guard."

So that's four leads lost in the second half or last Q.

Lots of selfish play in second halves and broken plays. Lots of TOs. Lots of teaching and learning.

I liked what Barlow showed overall but he's quite green and I expect he'll spend lots of development time in Austin. He's good on D boards, hangs onto the ball well. On O boards he has to learn to get into better positions to get rebounds.

I liked that Branham asserted himself more the last couple of games. Nice three level scoring.

Wesley's a blur when he beats his man with a first step. A bit trigger happy and will have to get better at seeing the open man.

I think both players will be willing passers part of a system.

I know lots of fans are calling for Wesley to go right to the big club and I agree that he's impressed with his assertiveness. But we have to be careful about being oversold on anyone's game right now. It's SL. If PATFO deems anyone necessary for some Austin reps, that's the best way to go.

I liked flashes from our young guys rookies. Too bad that Joe didn't get a chance to showcase his shot in game action. I don't doubt he can score, but he looked like he lacked confidence at the pro level so it's more of a mental hurdle. I think Days earned his way to the other two-way, with Woodard behind him.

Feels like a three-player race among Days, Woodard, and Joe. I mentioned that Days is an older unsigned player, but I think he's actually younger than the other two. Days really felt like he was so comfortable in his skin, played within himself, and contributed on both ends.

It'll be interesting to see what we do with the second two-way.
