The point is, there's always going to be a star up for trade, and Presti's trade just involve picks, he doesn't care as much about getting players, picks, real estate and first borns in return like Ainge does.


We were awful whenever Julius was on the floor -164, when Obadiah was in the games we were +165 and a fun team. I feel like if we go into next season Grimes or Cam gets a chance at winning the 2 (3 for Cam) guard spot, and who knows what happens, maybe one of them has a breakout year like Bane did, that would completely change our fortunes moving forward.

Obi is better than Randle. Randle is paid big money and no other teams want him. He will be back and he will play a lot of minutes again. Cam stinks. Grimes had a chance to take Fournier spot but Fournier gets paid more and he’s a vet and we are going with the same rotation next year just add Brunson. Nothing exciting about it. Same team. RJ and Grimes spotting up in corners, Robinson in rolling / clogging the paint. Randle and Brunson will try to operate on the strong side, RJ and others on the weak side, they will take turns trying to get a switch to settle for step back mid range jumpers. Then some iso Randle followed by more Iso Randle. Our pace will be slow, RJ won’t get many touches to create on offense. Team will fight for a play in spot and probably miss out and get rewarded with the 12th pick

he probably wants more picks than he received in the Gobert deal. I am like hey, I am not paying because one gm was an idiot. I think 4 picks plus talent maybe one swap might do it. I hate swaps, I would push for no swaps

Getting Donovan on a 4 year deal (3 + 1 PO) aligns with Brunson, the new deal for RJ, and Randle. That's appealing.
