Houstan will be better with the main team as he will be playing off people.

I think he will spend time in The G League but he is a good investment.

Agree...but if he shoots it well in camp, I could easily see him on the main roster and even in the rotation (depending on who goes away). Someone's gotta go (too many bodies) and I really think, if he shoots it well, it won't be him.

I'd say any combination of Hampton, TRoss, Okeke, Cannady, Bol are on the tightrope right now...barring a more significant trade.

Well, he's going to be on the main roster. He might just get sent down for a few stints.

His shot could get him in the rotation too.

Who is moved along with the second two-way spot are the main mysteries as we head into the dead season.

I don't think there's much chance he's playing rotation minutes any time soon.

But considering he's a teenager who has good size and can shoot, he's worth developing.

Wow.. a 3spot difference is almost 1M difference in salary?

It was speculated that Houstan had a promise as he skipped the combine. Seemed like he only worked out for teams with late firsts. The FO and his team probably had some sort of structure in place. a percentage of pick 30 or something like that. If the FO identified their guy and are fully committed to giving him time to develop sounds like a good combination.
Looks like pick 40 is the earliest pick to sign a 2 way.

i saw the jaylin on okc i think 34th pick? got same 4 yrs 8.2 mill as houstan
also houston contract 4 yrs last 2 yrs team options so if he plays good magic get him at 2m and 2.2 mill yr 3 and 4
laker guy 2 yrs no 3 and 4 yr so if he blows up gets new contract and can ask for more
so cost .6 mill a yr more to get the 2 yrs option..good deal to me
