In fact, I would much rather be the team that helps another team accumulate the draft picks to go after Mitchell. Say, Miami wants to go hard after Mitchell and are willing to do something crazy like Randle and 3 first round picks for Bam. I would much rather look for those
types of opportunities.

It could drag on for a little bit as the reports suggest. But I am sure Ainge wants to get it done before the season so he can fully tank. Seems like it’s only a matter of time and just have to see what the final deal is

Look at the other teams that are in the conversation and slightly beat their offer. Call the bluff of Utah - they say they will keep him but really they want to tank for next years epic draft.
