If it’s 4 of our own and 2 of the protected picks from other teams that’s pretty steep. But it does still leave us with 2 additional picks from the other teams.

if we traded our 2023, 2025, 2027, 2029, we could still keep the Mavs 2023 top 10 protected pick, our own 2024, the bucks top 3 protected 2025 pick, our own 2026, our own 2028, essentially leaving us without a pick only in 2027 and 2029. worst case scenario.

Maybe they go 3 and 3. We trade 2023, 2025, 2027, and keep the Mavs 2023 pick trading the other 3. So we still have a Mavs 2023 pick, and our own in 2024, so 2025 and 2027 we are out

Basically if we trade 6 picks there should only be 2 drafts where we don’t have any first round pick

Of course the player unions is going to have the players back in this case. But end of the day, the player has to put the work in which Noah clearly wasn't.

We didn't stretch Kanter. We benched him and he expressed disapproval of that, but we didn't care.

This is still a business and a competitive team. Stretching Noah hurt the Knicks deeply.
