The team players/teams use for leverage: only to get a wet butt and some cab fare at the end

Say we manage to turn Lowry/Yurt/Duncan/Gabe/Strus into 3 firsts and then grab Durant. That's a lot of salary between Lowry and Duncan to unload without taking some back as well, but it'd be garbage if we're getting picks. So without knowing those deals and assuming Herro would be in the Durant deal we'd have something like this to work with...

Yeah so in one years time Strus could be on a Duncan like contract 17+ mil per year and whatever Gabe gets. Then you need to remember if Herro is still here you are looking at a contract starting over 25 mil at least. Duncan is still on the books. So we will be deep into the luxury tax. Conservatively you are looking at adding an additional 40+ million dollars with them in a years time.

Looking at his numbers, very late bloomer. 5 year player. He did pretty much nothing his first 3 years. He had a decent season in year 4 then a very good season in year 5.

Looking like a camp body and guy we hope joins our G league team afterwards. Will be competing for a two way, but I doubt he gets that.

I've been citing this stuff since last offseason. Also... Oladipo is on a 1+1 and if he has a good season he's going to opt out and try to renegotiate.

Unless Struss plays better and looks like a very good starter let him walk and just keep looking for the next 3pt specialist.

I think Durant ends up in Miami or some darkhorse team swoops in and acquires him. Either way I think he’s out. His deal with Brooklyn has inklings of PG with OKC. I think he inked 4 years with the agreement that if it didn’t work they’d do him right.

Him and VO backcourt could be a nightmare for teams defensively, but no way we can go into the season with him starting even with Durant lol.
