I believe that's Melo's underwear.

What’s that trade?

NY - Mitchell, Bogdanovic, Rudy
LA - Conley, Randle, Fournier
UTAH - Westbrook, Rose, Horten-Tucker, 6 FRPS from NY, 2 FRPS from LA
Utah gets their 8 FRPS. Lebron gets Conley. NY gets Mitchell and keeps their youth.

I had a particularly bad experience with one. Here's a true buzzardman story.
I was in basic training/infantry training back in the day, fresh out of HS and NYC.
In basic, like they do in gulags etc, they usually make a bigger, older guy, or squared away guy the platoon leader/squad leaders.
In those days, the platoon leader and squad leaders got their own room, everyone else in big old open bay 40 man room.
They just have some extra responsibility, etc - it's the drill sgts that make your life hell, get everyone in shape, all indoctrinated etc.
Anyway, this guy was like 24 years old, state wrestler, and just a total whitebread weird ass Utah guy.
He did not like NYC.
He did not like thebuzzardman being from NYC.
So this guy, who has like 50 lbs on my then skinny ass is starting to crack jokes at my expense - which is ok, for a day or two, but by day 7, he's really leaning into it and there's something not funny in it.
I realize he's going to give me a rep and it's going to stick.
There were all these white painted paving stones- the ones that used to be in the street way back when in Wingo's time, lining the paths.
Anyway, I got pissed enough that I went up to him and stated "Keep doing it. You can kick my ass, and do it now and make it count, because if you keep talking like that, one night, at random, I'm going to take one of those paving stones, go into your room while you are sleeping, and crush your f*cking skull in"
I was a little wound up then.
He was friendly after that.
Telling me his weird ass stories about the big White Castle festival they had, like I gave a f*ck.
He bitched about his knees and didn't go to the airborne unit we all to, the d*che.

Defensive rating is not a stat that measures individual defense, because it's too dependent on the 4 other players on the floor.
Here are Bullock's last 7 seasons according to Defensive RAPM:
2015-16 -1.02
2016-17 +0.66
2017-18 +0.01
2018-19 -0.8
2019-20 +0.16
2020-21 +0.97
2021-22 +1.21
So by that metric, he did have his best defensive seasons under Thibs and then Kidd.
Mitchell's defense has fallen off a cliff through the years. Is it a sign of his declining commitment and motivation to play in Utah, or of the league changing and further exposing his lack of size? I don't know. To your point, it seems that he has the ability, but not necessarily the willingness to defend.
2017-18 +1.68
2018-19 +1.45
2019-20 -0.62
2020-21 -0.34
2021-22 -0.84
Super interesting pairing Donovan with Thibs' defensive schemes.
You are not going to have that high a defensive rating your first 2 years in the NBA no less, and simply lose that ability entirely. Thibs should get him back to focusing on D.

If you spend any amount of time reading the discourse here you will quickly find out there are people from all over the world and many of them don't even come from new york, might not have even visited there either. We are a diverse crowd for sure and that includes some fairly rural folk.
You might have even noticed that our favorite past time is cracking on each other, it's almost an art form but it's more like a sport. We don't take ourselves very seriously since we are Knicks fans, we are self aware enough to know how incredibly torturous it is to be a fan of this team and find humor in it.
So we two fanbases should join together in holy matrimony like some polygamous basketball cult in a ceremony and celebration of our common love...hating Micheal Jordan. Although, if any of you guys brings that jello stuff to the wedding I'm gonna cross you up so hard your kids will be born with broken ankles.
Thank you and yes you may repost this on your board to make everyone aware of the 'pending nuptials' between our forums....which maybe sounds like something you need a prescription to remedy and yea, drugs won't hurt the process.
Apologies if we have offended you. Peace be with you!

Don't believe him, evevale, that's just a typical thebuzzardman wind up/hoax. Elijah Hughes is actually the Jazz's second round draft pick -a PF- this year and the deal is being held up because Leon wants him included in the l to replace Obi.
Didn't their Patriarch Joseph Smith, who started Mormonism, start it in upstate New York? Be grateful they went west!

I'm just trying to separate basketball from real life for a moment. Let people know we don't hate people and no I don't hate anyone. The online discourse seems to keep getting more hostile and it is resulting in the violence we see.
Although, if you are so dissatisfied with your own life that you have to vent this vitriol towards others over a game then that is what you will do. Internet bravado only fans the flames of conflict in the minds, hearts and souls of those that experience it.

I think wore out their welcome upstate, wore out their welcome in Arkansas - I think near the Missouri border, and packed it all up and moved to...Utah land! I think. It's been a while. Also, wasn't all this around the time of the 1st Great Awakening? Or was in the 2nd?
It's been a while since I read on this
