Nice. He's been the most accurate lately.

Windhorst nailed the Harden talks

he nailed the Rudy Gobert trade (jazz selling)

I believe him most right now.

Which is pretty wild...I never believed him but somehow this offseason he became legit.

He doesn't know anything.

Expect Donovan to start making some noise. First behind the scenes, then publicly. CAA has both more negotiating experience and negotiating power than Ainge. This is why you hire Rose. Aller tells him what good value is and Rose gets it done.

He already has, you think showing up at Mets games, hanging with Quick, going to a cyclones game, going to Rangers games, you dont think thats on purpose? If he didnt want people to know what he was doing, no one would know

We could profit from the expectations distortions about our assets in this trade.

The Jazz looks like they overvalue our unprotected picks because of our history. Bit this time we are building a younger, not injury-prone team, with bigger depth and we will hold on to some assets. I do not think we will get a Top 10 Botton campaign in the following seasons.

The Jazz might not value the Dallas and the Bucks picks. But this season, the West will be very tough with stronger LAC, Denver, Wolves, Pelicans, and Portland. Dallas can disappoint. And Bucks can be very bad with aging Jrue and Kris in 2025.

Assuming they estimate an unprotected pick twice the value of Bucks and Dallas. We could choose to hold these protected picks giving the unprotected one and try to profit from our bad reputation and history of failures.

For the record, that Windhorst quote is from a podcast recorded last Thursday or Friday. It's not new, and someone posted it in here when it initially dropped.

Also, I listened to the whole thing and he actually refused to answer the question about when a deal would get done because he said he had no idea.

not true

One quick note that bears mentioning: While Mitchell and Bam Adebayo are both on Designated Rookie extensions, they can legally play on the same team because Miami drafted Adebayo. Mitchell cannot, however, play on the same team as Ben Simmons, who also has a Designated Rookie deal, but was traded to Brooklyn.

Other teams than the Heat can get involved.

I can’t see no other teams expressing interest. Depends on the price.

Sure ? I thought it was draft or trade. But Heat probably prefer KD.

Thunder not paying up for Mitchell. Mitchell wants to be in NY. Just make a fair trade come on…
