but guys like Green, Bouknight and Johnson are too good to play? just lol.

Yup. Its cool seeing Giddey out there with Chet. Its nice seeing Kuminga out there playing high usage ball and playing 25+ minutes. Giddey was all rookie team and he's out there playing every game. Kuminga and Moody were on a championship team, they're out there playing.

Where's Bones Hyland? Where's Ayo? Where's Herb? Where's Davion? Where's Kispert? Where's Bouknight? And so on.

Like we arent even talking top 5 picks that had solid rookie seasons not showing up to play (again dont have to go too far back at all to find when this was still a thing). We are talking late 1sts, 2nd round picks who had solid (not great) rookie years that arent showing up.

Even less guys are gonna want to play in it after what happened to Liddell. Also, had to think that Moody was like what am I doing here right now after he bounced his grill on the court with like 20 seconds left in the game against Boston. It just ain’t worth it for these guys at this point. Meanwhile, Jalen Green gets a free trip Vegas to sit on the sidelines and kick it with strippers from the Spearmint Rhino all night.

Kendall Brown can be so good if he ever finds that aggro gear and levels up that BBIQ

The Heat swooped in and signed him to a two-way. Spurs let a good one get away I feel.

would you play him ahead of Tillman? and in what way would you use him? is it ISO scoring running offense through him or more PnP play?

not sure ahead of Tillman at this point, but I'm sure he'll get some energy big spot mins, depending on how hard Memphis want to go in the RS for seeding.

but yea def PnR and energy guy only at first

True..

Bouknight and Kispert especially, those guys under-delivered. Bouknight has to be the biggest head scratcher.

I found summer league was dull without 2nd and 3rd years.. first couple games were good to see the FRPs but then they bailed mostly

I get not playing if you were just drafted and have not inked your contract as a SRP, but the guys Clyde pointed out should have been on the floor.

But, ya, teams shouldnt expect guys just drafted but not signed to play and risk injury that could impact what the team offers them contractually.

I agree as a fan. Kispert was an odd one . I understand a bit. Summer League isn’t always a great place for a spot up shooter, hoping for a pass.

On the other hand, there were a bunch of guys on that Wiz summer roster trying to prove themselves as playmakers. They probably would have appreciated knock down shooter to dish too.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Bouknight had surgery on a finger ligament, that's why he missed SL
