Spoiler:
I liked last weeks episode because Lalo had me freaked out. I'm a lot calmer with him buried 6 FT under the lab. I thought he might do something grisly to Kim which might have ruined the whole BB universe for me.

Tonight setup Kim's exit real well if it wasn't already explained. If that's the case it would be anticlimactic which would be OK with me. I think clearly the number one cliff hanger with the transition from BCS to BB is what happens to Kim and just how freaky is it gonna be. A super soft exit stage left would be great, but just not the style for the BB universe. So, I'm pretty sure there will be more drama for Kim the next four weeks.

I want to see how BCS transitions into BB and we got a big leap tonight. That was 100% BB Saul Goodman the last six minutes of the episode. I'm really exited to see Jessie and Walt. That's gonna be huge. And it hit me tonight Tuco should be showing up pretty quick. That'll be cool to see how that plays out.

They're gonna finish out the Omaha story with Gene. I think that's how BCS will end. As of tonight's episode, there very well could be a Jimmy and Kim reunion. There's a lot more crap to come so they'll probably end up like Hank and Gomez in the desert. But, for tonight I like the idea of a happy ending for those two.

Spoiler:
I'll be surprised if that's it for Kim. As said, what happens to her has been the biggest question mark the whole time and her just saying "OK I'm out" seems too anticlimactic to me for a TV show. In real life, if all that happened her just dipping makes perfect sense but not on TV. OTOH, they kind of are making Saul to be the good guy here so having a bunch of things he does leading to a brutal death to like the only truly good character might've been too far if they're going to have a positive type ending for Saul. I don't have any good ideas on how to tie her back in though assuming the big leap was where they are in the story now, but we'll see.

BCS:
Spoiler:
I was ok with Kim’s exit. I think it’s the only plot line that made logical sense taking into account the broader BB universe. But it wouldn’t shock me if there is indeed more in store for Kim.

I’m glad they didn’t draw it out too much. Kim leaves and Saul is left with nothing but his work so dives head first into it. Seems we’re right up to the BB timeline crossing over now.

BCS

Spoiler:
I'm fine with the Jimmy/Kim plot. Better than just killing her off. I wouldn't be surprised if she pops back up in Omaha. That plot still needs to be resolved. Remember in S5, E1 the cab driver, Jeff, says he knows who Gene (Saul) is. Saul calls Ed at the vacuum store so he could change identities again. Then says “I’ve changed my mind, I’m gonna fix it myself".

Now that BCS is in the BB timeline the question is when they jump ahead to Omaha. I'm guessing pretty soon with only 4 left

Just wanna say thanks for the spoiler tags. I stopped watching BCS after season three but it's one of those I've long figured I'd get back to at some point.

This new season of Westworld has been pretty good so far. Seems to be going back to it’s roots in a way.

BCS for 7/25. I just read some info on next weeks episode.

Updated on 7/24

Spoiler:
It looks like were gonna be in full BB mode after next week. It appears both Jessie and Walt will be in next weeks episode. They're moving pretty quick now.

I wonder if we'll see the grave scene. "Not Lalo!".

7/24: https://deadline.com/2022/07/better-call-saul-bryan-cranston-and-aaron-paul-1235072135/

This is the article I read. This is the last sentence of the article: "The Journal also reports Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston will appear on the July 25th episode of Better Call Saul."

Now we'll see if it's right.

I've been watching a few episodes of "Dating on the Spectrum" which is a documentary about adult Americans with autism, who are seeking the skills and courage to go out in to the dating world. The first episode I watched offered a few moments that offered profound glances in to how a person on the autism spectrum sees and experiences the world so vastly differently than others. Its sort of like you bid on a car in an auction, you don't get the car, but no one will tell you how much your bid fell short of the winning bid. These individuals are aware that they are different than others, they have been excluded and treated poorly for decades. But they also can't comprehend the amount or the specific ways they are different. And thus they go through life knowing they are different but not how or why . I guess there is nothing in the doc I was not previously aware of, I have friends and family on the spectrum (as I imagine most do). But since the doc is not specifically about autism (its more about dating) the subjects of the doc open up and speak freely and its a really fascinating window to understand people with autism better.

Two other sub thoughts from watching:

- dating is so full of pretending and exaggerating that it is fascinating to watch people who can't really pretend and exaggerate attempt it

- I think twitter rage and cancel culture suggest there is one best way to think, see the world, and present yourself. But this doc reminds me that every person you come across perceives the world in a profoundly different way. I know that sounds preachy, but a quick glimpse inside some of these lives on the show has made me more empathetic to others. I'm not sure how else to say this, but the disability of autism is not seeing, understanding, perceiving the world in ways others do. I'm not going to be a person that punishes or excludes others (on the spectrum or not) whose experiences have made them vastly different than me

I'm not going to read the BCS spoiler about next week's episode (and thank you for using spoiler tags). I'm curious why anyone would want to know ahead of time what's going to happen when the series is down to it's final 4 episodes. Maybe it's just me. To each their own ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

BCS

Spoiler:
Tried to watch BCS again last night. Fell asleep almost immediately. I'm really taking the loss of Lalo hard. Was my favorite show of the last 15 years and now I don't care. Maybe I should seek some help lol

I'm glad they changed the TV adaptation of The Old Man as much as they did because the novel really sucked.

Just think it ran its course more or less. Hope they both find success on their own. Left field rumor I heard that I hope has legs is Desus being considered to take over for Corden.

Yeah, it just kinda happened. I was reading a BCS article that quoted some of the actors. Then they disclosed some information without a spoiler warning. In the end it didn't bother me. I like knowing it, 8-)

Now we'll see if it happens or not. I'll update my post with how the info disclosed.

You aren't alone. Many don't mind. Some seek out spoilers. Although, as you said, internet spoilers for upcoming shows aren't always accurate. I don't even watch previews for the next week for programs that show them. My GF always watches them.

Spoiler:
I feel your pain. I was thinking he might make it out alive somehow and he'd be around terrifying us on the post BB world. Heck, the opposite of that, there was even some Facebook talk about a "Breaking Good" Lalo spinoff, which could have been insanely good. Oh well.

As I previously said, I'm relieved he's gone. This Mfer was a terrifying genius. I was always scared when he was around others I didn't want to die. When he was in Germany alone with the dog I yelled no like ten times. Then when he was compassionate and bonded with it, I was like yes. How cool. No other BB or BCS character could have pulled that sequence off.

What really has me chapped, as I stated earlier, is how he went out. This guy is John Wick. He wiped out a team of assassins and you believed how he did it. He was always two or three moves ahead of everyone else. A great BCS moment was when Kim convinced him nothing really happened in the desert. It was great because it showed how big a badass Kim can be by actually putting one over on Lalo when that seemed almost impossible.

Then, we end up in the lab. Gus takes him out in a punk move that would have been silly for Chris Tucker in a Rush Hour movie- sigh... The only other end I didn't like is when Walt killed Mike, which still irks me. That was super weak and Lalo's death was worse.

There are three or four jaw-dropping plot twists. Just a crazy, disturbing story.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I have a buddy that does this for every movie/show he really wants to see. Before he watches it, he goes out on Reddit and tries to piece together every plot point. I don't get it. I like to be surprised. I don't even read the episode preview blurbs before I hit play :)
