I don't have anything against Christians in general, except for the part where they went around and rewrote a bunch of religions to the point where it's impossible to tell what the original context for said myths were or even if they were originally stories told by that culture or added afterwards by the monks. Also the crusades. And the whole altar boy molestation thing. Really, anything to do with organized religion is a hard no from me, individual people are usually fine.

Faith baffles me to this day. Been a Rollercoaster my whole life - from fear to anger to tolerance to envy/jealousy to thinking its romantic. But I could never make the leap myself.

If you strip away all the mythological aspects of religion, their cores are still great philosophies to live life by. Its just too bad that its not taught that way and instead leans into those myths to sell their faith.

I'll tread lightly because im not looking to bash religion here - the need for a god to act accordingly has never sat well with me. And truthfully has not lived up to my shared experience.

They touched base on the framework a week ago. Then the Jazz shopped the offer.

I don't think it has much further to go either.

well yes I think touching base was exchanging what both teams ideal trade was.

Jazz probably came back with all our unportected + a couple protected and a 3-4 young guys.

We probably said we are comfortable with 2 unprotected + a couple protected plus 1 young guy

Hope if they meet in the middle it will look like

3 unprotected (2023, 2025, 2027)
2 protected picks (DAL 2023, DET, WIZ, MIL)
1-2 young guys
and salary filler.

Ainge can say he outdid his Gobert trade...and we don't get rid of every single asset to eventually be in position to make a follow up trade if we need it down the line.

If Aller can get some light protection on that third pick, I'm getting a cigar and calling it a deal

The latter for me

I know right...I want to be more pumped about Donovan but I probably will be more pumped about never having to watch Randle play basketball again...unless its as an opposing team.

The arbiter of TS being a Russ disciple is truly strange.

It's almost like he doesn't actually believe in what he says, he just decided to try and prove how smart he is by saying RJ sucks and is just using TS for that exclusive purpose despite knowing how stupid that argument is, yet it's gone too far for him to back out at this point so he has to keep digging himself deeper.

Or hear me out. Sometimes we can throw stats out the window if the player is fun to watch. Which RJ isn't. He is boring so he doesn't get a pass. Also we aren't invested in Brodies teams. So it doesn't matter that they lose.

DOT....There is much out there that is not true Christianity. It is a personal relationship with the Father through his Son Jesus. You die by faith on the Cross with Christ as he is the way, the truth, and eternal life and are born again by the Holy Spirit just as Christ was resurrected anew. Rituals do not get you to eternal life it is by grace through faith that one is saved.

I have a relationship with my Father apart from any denomination or religion. Religion wants us following a bunch of rules to maybe one day 'earn' the right to go to Heaven. Denominantions want your identity to be in their particular dogman and beleive system rather than in Christ and Christ alone. I am a CHRISTian. No denomination or leader of the denomination died on the Cross for me. This is not to say all organized religion is bad per se but the ones that take you off what the core truth is: that it is simply through Christ that you are saved (as it says in the Bible which is the word of God written through those inspired by the Holy Spirit) are all sadly leading their congregation astray.

I always give a clear account what the true good news is. However one can only come to believe (or understand it for that matter) by faith and faith alone.
New reality of Son ship!
All who receive and believe in Jesus, given the right to become children of God. Not born of flesh, but born of Spirit. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Glory that came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Yeah, this is what I mean, right

To someone with no context or knowledge of how this all works, this would sound pretty bonkers.

Ah, your monthly shot at me. Again, I am glad it doesn't happen twice a day anymore. You must have met other people you think about now. I'm proud of you.

Except I never pretended Westbrook was a good player today.

Except RJ doesn't just suck if you just drew a conclusion from TS%, but also by various metrics.

But nice try. Let's see next month what new straw man you can come up with.

The Jazz probably would probably prefer the unprotected picks more down the line

It would probably be about 3 unprotected picks and 2 or 3 pick swaps

Ima say this about Randle. His weakness is getting that half assed double, and making decisions off of that, which usually leads to a shot. If he’s not getting that double anymore with Brunson and Mitchell on the court, he’s gonna eat
