Yeah, and they are actually better than what you hear, too. Until you've been to CA to see the Eastern Sierras in person you've only seen a fraction of the outdoor visual drama this country has to offer. It's unreal back there, like fantasy land stuff that you only see in CGI movie scenes and videogames.

Well damn, that looks gorgeous. Similar to the Enchantments here in the PNW.

And youre right pictures never do them justice. They don't capture the scope and magnitude of how beautiful they are.

I'll definitely put them on my list. I'm always looking for new places to explore

Very similar, there's just way more of it in the Sierras. The second and third pics are 250 miles apart and in completely different areas of the state, and it's just a continuous stream of scenes like them in between. Like, I'll never come close to seeing all of the major stuff before I die, even if I live until I'm 80 and hike the entire time. Definitely recommend getting down here to see some of the big stuff if that's your bag.

Say less. I live for that these days.

The Enchantments are also infested. It's like Disneyland up there these days. So having so much free range would hopefully open up some solitude.

The voices in my head are reporting that this is entertaining but ultimately nothing good is going to happen

Why is Tony Jones official as it gets?

Something said on a radio station the Jazz owner owns would seem to be something pretty official

Tony Jones broke the initial talks with Shams.

Literally yesterday he said it can take all summer and now today saying it can happen at any moment...hmmm

There is no way the radio host getting a text live on air saying deal was done is fake. The only thing is he did not say the Knicks.

But the trade is almost certainly done and will break in the next few days, if not today.

Leon prob caved a bit to get it done fast. If they waited another team could muster up something in their minds, especially after the KD thing is over.

Ok let's recap:

-Brunson press conference completed and not dominated by media asking about Mitchell. So Brunson gets his day.
-DMitch with the tweet this Morning 'God is Good' likely meaning something good/great happened for him....
-This afternoon the leading radio talk show host of the last 20 years at a station OWNED by the Jazz owner gives very specific information that he is receiving texts about the deal being 'agreed upon' comes out today

Doesn't guarantee anything BUT.....Those do seem to be pretty strong clues when you put all of them together in the consecutive order they happened.
New reality of Son ship!

Tampering costs a late 2nd round pick

Half this board thinks that carries no value and the other half those picks are crazy valuable for some reason

So YMMV

Where were y’all on the evening Lebron made his decision? And how heartbroken were you?

Usually. For the Knicks, they'll wait until we win the lotto this year then take that pick.

If it is happening soon that's why they wanted to get Brunson's day in the spotlight wrapped up.

Islam did it first.

I mean .. everything's connected to everything .. so .. meh. Obviously there was an amount of influence of basically Persian scholars on the early Renaissance. The technological exchanges at that point are hard to disentangle, with the weft and warp of the silk road and of the Arabia India ship route to add in.

But the pace of change, and even the acceleration of change over the last .. well.. you can choose a date.. but somewhere between 350 and 250 years ago is in a different scale.
