Some of the tweets in that article are absolutely hilarious. I guess some people dont even understand how good even the average nba player would look in a gym with amateur players

He was playing against Heat legend Chris Silva though

Maybe he'll get it when he stops playing like he is 4 ft tall against other bigs.

Yea he was tiny when he locked up the 2nd most dominant player in the league in the playoffs

I’d rather be locked into that Sexton deal than a more expensive Herro deal, for sure.

Love this as one of 2 moves made if KD pursuit is fruitless. The other being a Herro package for PF upgrade

So how is this different than previous years?

Here's last season's Bam Adebayo looks absolutely dominant in pickup game with Jayson Tatum and Michael Beasley.
Adebayo can be seen hitting some tough shots in the video. That’s an incredibly encouraging sight for Heat fans, as Adebayo’s shooting has plenty of room for improvement.

The question isn't can't he do it, the question is will he do it? He just doesn't have an offensive mindset, you can push him to score more in small spurts like a quarter here, maybe a half there but overall, he's going to go back to being non offensive.

What’s with the hostility on this board lately brehs? Who cares if one person thinks it’s ok to trade a player and another person thinks the player should not be traded under any circumstances. Is someone’s life on the line in this debate? No this is a fking internet forum. If someone disagrees with you, who gives a f? And if someone was wrong about something, who gives a f too? I don’t remember things I said let alone things other people say. Move the f on and stfu about it. Holy f.

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

He could have been a better offensive weapon last year and wasn't. Talent isn't holding him back, his mindset is.

I can live with an efficient 19 from the best defender in the world who also opens up our screen merchant in nonstop DHOs offensively. That being said, he needs to have scorers mindset next season and the offensive scheme needs to feature him more outside of DHOs. Both statements are true.

ICC sauces and Adam lurking brought over Heat Twitter.

Just how much better a 31 YO Barns is going to be in our system then a Highsmith?

Really good point, when you think about "fresh legs" versus "little things".... they do actually begin to add up.

One of the reasons I loved Martin this year was he did his job and applied himself 110%. Effort goes a hell of a long way. He got beat up by the end of the year and less then 100% Martin was not the same thing.

Experience and knowing how you can effect the game even when you are not at your best theoretically is what adds value to those accomplished vets.

I think the majority of the fan value in those players is the fear we have of being small. We see size killing us, and we fear it even more. So if the Heat can get a Myles Turner, it has get Spo closer to traditional line up is the mindset.

It only loosely falls into your post, but I am damn high on Highsmith. That is our next Robinson or Strus. I bet the dude rains this year.

Herro for Collins is much more likely-- They're pretty much the same player at different positions right now, but if Collins comes cheaper I might go that route if the opportunity came

does not even look like our Bam.

He might not be able to play that game in the NBA due to the size and speed of the other players.

I would like to see him at least try it tho

Return to Miami Heat
