- 8:55AM Jo, Miami was called by Brooklyn to counter a boston offer for Durant, they have an official offer sheet from Boston.
- 8:57AM, Durant has also spoken to front office as of this morning and accepted a trade to Boston for the package presented.

Expected. If you want a high level player you have to give great value.

This organization lowballs trade offers and then overpays it's own players, it's really confusing.

lol you are basing this off a post in a forum. 5reasons might be more reliable imo
After the KD stuff settles, we will know for sure if they offered Bam. I'm certain Heat know there's no KD without Bam. And even if they offered Bam, I think Nets would take JB over Bam.

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

They can't take Bam at all unless they can move Simmons which would cost them assets. That just doesn't seem likely.

In my opinion Brooklyn is driving up the cost to get herro and bam or re route bam to a 3rd team to get back something else, if not they take jb and whatever else boston gives them

If I’m Miami I ONLY give up bam and herro for kd if I get back a quality center back like turner or something like that somehow

Makes me wonder of Bkln FO aren't kicking themselves right now for the Harden/Simmons trade. Garnering Ben seems to be a point of contention into any trade scenario's this off season.

Damn we’re really getting screwed over by the Knicks for Mitchell and by the Celtics for KD

I don't see how we could construct a better offer that wouldn't leave us in the same place but with fewer assets ... or outright cripple the team. We could offer Butler, but is that really an upgrade going forward? Durant turns 34 in September. That probably shortens our window by a year, and we'd have to give up the few assets we have on top of Jimmy. :noway:

That... means... a... low... ball... offer. Kind of like the summer of 2021 where instead of trading for a star like Giannis just trying to grab him for cap space while sacrificing the roster for 2 years. Right now if Miami loses out they once again sacrificed the roster to try to lowball a trade.

It's possible that Miami will give up good compensation for KD, Riley's not getting younger and if the gut the team and it's EVERYTHING(which it shouldn't be) and Miami is building with just Butler, KD, Oladipo, Martin, and Dedmon, they can find 4-5 more role-players. Wouldn't mind M.Garrett bringing his defense to that rotation.

Kyrie/Curry/Mills
Brown/Harris
Simmons
O'Neale/Warren
Claxton

Not a bad roster. We've also seen Kyrie and Jaylen hanging out with Kanye. Imagine the convo with these three dudes in the same room

Watch the nets have called the Celtics and begged them to say they offered brown and picks with another player to drive up the price. Like wtf, the whole summer not a peep and now out of nowhere the nets are trading him right now and to the Celtics which haven't been linked to KD all summer.

I listen to 5 reasons.

Going to ownership might be to hit the trade Bam button, but it sounds like that was off the table up till now. Brooklyn isn't "losing" KD anytime soon so no need to take any lowball offers, he might not play but he's under their control and are trying to steer him to a team he's ok with.

It sounds like Boston finally sent Brooklyn an acceptable level trade because this Boston thing was getting traction from Shams and Woj and now Miami may be going back to ownership to get permission to make a big move since they weren't earlier.
